So far still no sanction for the one who commit genocide and attacking embassy, which against international rule. That's double standard at display

Russian have started using GPS guided bomb that can evade radars, they used satellites to guide them too the target, but can be effective from 20 miles away, they have an unlimited mount of kit to use

I thought Ukraine was winning?

I thought Ukraine was winning?

Why did you think that? Who do you think is winning?

3 ( +7 / -4 )

I thought Ukraine was winning?

I was told this war was over last year.

Interesting how we heard different things, eh?

10 ( +12 / -2 )

@ClippetyClop

Not NATO's proxy, that is for darn sure.

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Not NATO's proxy, that is for darn sure.

But you just said that you thought that Ukraine was winning.

Which is it? Do you want to try again?

2 ( +7 / -5 )

I don't understand how people can believe the Moscow regime's narrative that Ukraine is NATO's proxy. If that were the case, Ukraine certainly wouldn't be short of air defenses and ammunition. I guess Putin is fortunate that these people believe don't think too hard about what they're being told.

Palestinians not worthy of consideration, just contempt.

Sick people in EU making and enabling a genocide.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Yet more weapons and no sanctions for Israel which has slaughtered 40000 people bombed other countries embassies and infinitum...... hypocrisy much!?

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

The propaganda war, one of the most divisive weapons, to be able to create disunity, with the use and spread of disinformation.

The Russian government are a masterclass in the effective use of cyberwarfare, of  IoT-Based Attacks.

Europe, EU needs to pick a side with actions, not words, meetings promising pledging more meetings and words.

The German Government needs to commit its stockpile of Taurus KEPD-350 missiles.

Iran is an extreme ideologically religiously opposed threat to western human rights freedoms.

Sanctions will not prevent Iran mullahs developing Nuclear weapons and the ballistic missile systems to bolt them too.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Ukraine should surrender to prevent more deaths.

Russia should go home to prevent more deaths.

Prolonging the war is useless

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

It is a very obvious point.

They think Ukraine is Russia, but then they can’t explain why they weren’t greeted with flowers. Ukraine is not Russia and never will be.

I Nominate Ms. Melanie Joly to be the next Prime Minister of Canada.

Make PEACE NOT WAR people.

Seek ways to end these wars and bring prosperity to all people.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Israel is the one that the G7 and the EU should be Suctioning.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Make PEACE NOT WAR people.

Everyone wants peace except Russia. They are the one country that could ensure peace tomorrow if they wanted it. And Ukraine has wanted peace from day one, but Russia has rejected their peace proposal.

So your comment, while likely well intentioned, is misdirected. You can point it at one person: Putin.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani opened the first working session by calling for new sanctions against Iran for its weekend attack

So where are the sanctions for the Israeli attack on the Iranian diplomatic mission and slaughter of tens of thousands of Gaza women and children? (11 children killed by Israeli bombing at a playground just yesterday.. ) Will our righteous G7 representatives call for that too or will they just stay a bunch of hypocrites?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

What would make them hypocrites?

"Sick people in EU making and enabling a genocide"

Well put.

Russia will not give up as long as it sees encroachment on its borders which was the reason for the invasion in the first place.

Who will fight for Ukraine once all the population has been killed?

The military call-up has already been expanded to include females, older and younger sections of the Ukrainian population.

Ukraine has no nuclear weapons -Russia has.

The Ukrainians have no leverage over Russia and if NATO were to intervene then it’s a world war.

Anyone emotively wishing for a Ukrainian victory is fine but it’s just that.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Russia will not give up as long as it sees encroachment on its borders which was the reason for the invasion in the first place.

Russian is the only country that has attempted to encroach it's borders, so you've got the cart before the horse mate. No one else has invaded anyone.

Your argument is like when my brother used to hold my wrist then slap me with it, and blame me for it.

Ukraine has no nuclear weapons -Russia has.

And Putin knows if he uses them, Moscow becomes past tense.

The Ukrainians have no leverage over Russia

That's why they'll just have to kill every Russian soldier in Ukraine.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Quite sure you know the answer, unless you think bombing embassies, playgrounds and killing / wounding 150 thousand ( 70% civilians in 6 months) is fine. A lot on here are super keen to sanction Iran / Russia but then Israel gets a free card..hmm, wonder which country has most G7 leaders in their pocket.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

The German Government needs to commit its stockpile of Taurus KEPD-350 missiles.

What for? To bring more destruction and suffering to civilians? This is where you will succeed. But you have forgotten that Russia is a nuclear power. By definition, a nuclear power cannot be defeated!!! What kind of victory for Ukraine are you all talking about here???

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Ahh, so you've decided to compare apples to oranges. Thanks for clarifying.

You've forgotten what the Mutual in Mutually Assured Destruction means.

By definition, a nuclear power cannot be defeated!!!

Yes it can. That's the mutual part.

Wow , quite a response ...but really dude , pretty sure you know better than that and can see the righteous G7 leaders stance for what it is, even if its hard for you to admit that out loud. But thats ok.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Nah, I just realized it was an apples to oranges comparison, and that if you had made such a comparison, you clearly didn't realize it, and I couldn't be bothered to bring myself down to the level required to explain it.

As would Washington and the NATO capitals, so the world better not go there, huh.

The Ukrainians have no leverage over Russia.........That's why they'll just have to kill every Russian soldier in Ukraine.

Yeah, that NAFO fantasy ain't happening, we all know that. Instead of rooting for more war and casualties how about rooting for ceasefire and peace talks, better all around.

Ah, the answer when one doesnt have a valid answer. But thats cool dude, I get it, its hard to admit to things sometimes even when they are plainly obvious to most. No sweat, lets all enjoy the Friday sunshine.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

As would Washington and the NATO capitals, so the world better not go there, huh.

Putin, Russia, and the fanbois are the one's going there. I'm pointing out what mutual means. So talk to them. Huh.

Yeah, that NAFO fantasy ain't happening, we all know that. Instead of rooting for more war and casualties how about rooting for ceasefire and peace talks, better all around.

Or, how about Ukraine kill all Russian soldiers in Ukraine.

Ah, the answer when one doesnt have a valid answer.

Or, when:

I couldn't be bothered to bring myself down to the level required to explain it.

This meeting amounts to a group-therapy session for a bunch of people suffering from denialism syndrome. The symptoms are all there from a proxy war that has gone pear shaped.

Russia has the right to self-defense. Important to remember this conflict is between Moscow and the Kyiv-regime and their radical nationalists - and not the Ukrainian people. Sooner the former goes, it will be better for everyone. Then there can be a two-state solution imposed with caveats.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

People, realize something..

The world is changing rapidly in recent years..

The west is losing its world influence..

NATO, G7, and especially the US are slowly and slowly losing power and world hegemony..

These changes are a sign of the new world order that is going to change the world..

And we are the lucky witnesses of the born of a new world..

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

This meeting amounts to a group-therapy session for a bunch of people suffering from denialism syndrome. The symptoms are all there from a proxy war that has gone pear shaped.

You guys thought you were going to win the war very fast. You definitely didn't intend to get stuck in a quagmire for two and a half years, with the part of the world that matters hating your country, and tens of thousands of Russian mothers mourning their husbands, brothers, and children, sent off to Ukraine to die for Putin's ego.

So let's not pretend you are accurate at predicting how long this battle will go on. Your claims of "denialism" seem to be a bit of projection, no? Or do you think Putin intended this to go on two and a half years?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Kuku, Putin's Russian invasion forces could end this war, and withdraw from Ukraine.

The Putin special military operation, has produced the exact opposite of its operational and military intentions.

Western Europe, must be aware of the Putin’s Russia and its Foreign Policy.

Another war in could well be unavoidable, however frightening and unpalatable.

EU member states will need, must realise inaction is not acceptable.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Kuku one last thought, Russia is not going to be defeated, politicians, Europe/EU leaders will always find, fudge a compromise, everyone will save face one way pr another.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

...with the part of the world that matters...

What a bizarre way to think - most of the world "doesn't matter" which is typical of the mindset that really comes out of the G7 crowd, who represent the former colonialist masters.

Safe to assume the Kyiv-regime has been informally invited to join the "part of the world that matters" by the overlords on a master-servant type format.

This 20th century unipolar mindset is precisely why many countries have remained neutral and/or are sympathetic to Moscow's stance.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

...Or, when:....I couldn't be bothered to bring myself down to the level required to explain it.*

Code for 'have no answer'...yeah ok then.

Instead of rooting for more war and casualties how about rooting for ceasefire and peace talks, better all around....................Or, how about Ukraine kill all Russian soldiers in Ukraine.*

Yeah, that aint gonna happen. Ukraine is loosing unfortunately, even the G7 mass media narrative has changed to reflect the undeniable now. Supplying more weapons and prolonging the war will just result in more casualties all around ( and more $$ for the MIC of course which is what really matters ey )

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Code for 'have no answer'

Well, that's one possibility, with another being:

I couldn't be bothered to bring myself down to the level required to explain it.

Ukraine is loosing unfortunately

Addressed above:

You guys thought you were going to win the war very fast. You definitely didn't intend to get stuck in a quagmire for two and a half years, with the part of the world that matters hating your country, and tens of thousands of Russian mothers mourning their husbands, brothers, and children, sent off to Ukraine to die for Putin's ego.

Not most of the world, just Russia.

Whoa, is that what the Kremlin is telling you guys? Do they let you use The Google? (Hint: They're lying to you)

Sanction Iran into the Stone Age.

There should be no tolerance for Iran unprovokedly attacking a US ally on its sovereign land.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

Well, seeing that the genocidal regime seems determined to add suicidal as well by doubling down on its initial unprecedented attack on Iran, even after Iran made it clear that its response was the last time it would be wearing kid gloves in its dealings with it, OR let its enablers talk it out doing what needed to be done decades ago, teach it the corollary of the Golden Rule (how you treat others has consequences for you) White Bloc members stockpiles of air defense missiles are going to be exhausted dealing with Iran's decoys.

And seeing as Iran is a member of BRICS, which has more economic clout than the G7, all those 'sanctions' are going to do is convince more of the world that it needs to also become part of BRICS.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Let’s sanction the war hungry Israelis at the same time!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Well, if early reports are accurate, there soon won't be any air defense missiles to give to the Azov regime and 'sanctions' against Iran on behalf of the Israeli regime will be moot because without the ability to violently oppress the majority of its legal population, the Israeli regime will have been overthrown.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

supplying more weapons and prolonging the war will just result in more casualties all around

Duuuh! That's exactly why more weapons will be supplied.

More dead Russians makes it harder for Russia to steal more Ukranian land.

You are going to have to find a different method of making Ukraine surrender.
