Trump — who told his supporters to “fight like hell” that morning — has attempted to hinder much of the committee’s work, including in an ongoing court case, by arguing that Congress cannot obtain information about his private White House conversations.

Because Trump doesn’t want the truth to be known. He was in direct communication with the insurrectionist mob and coordinated with its leaders. There are mountains of evidence of this.

Ah yes, the "insurrection", in which 100s were detained for months without bail for non-violent offenses such as trespassing... and yet, mysteriously, not a single one has been charged with insurrection under the legal code. Yet, the media and its acolytes continue to speak of insurrection as though it's fact rather than faith.

This is going to absolutely go nowhere. If these people think the country cares with all the crap falling apart around them from rising food and gas prices, shortages of supplies, containers waiting to dock in Long Beach, the liberal networks are already seeing 60% drop in viewers, the msm media pundits can drag this on, but if they think they can block, stop Trump from running let alone incarcerating the man will extremely disappointed for the 3rd time.

They tried to break into the capitol to murder the vice president, so as to stop him from certifying the results of a democratic election.

Lock them up for life. Forget they ever even existed.

Another Trump peon turns on his boss.

Has there ever been a president who inspired less loyalty in his people?

0 ( +5 / -5 )

They tried to break into the capitol to murder the vice president,

That was so far disproven

Lock them up for life. Forget they ever even existed.

They won’t get anywhere even remotely close to that. A few months in prison and then I’m sure many of them will turn around and file a lawsuit against the State And take legal action for having their civil rights violated under the law.

Mate, there is video of them carrying a noose, chanting 'hang mike pence', and they invaded the capitol.

Ever notice how the only people claiming it's disproven are from a single political party in the entire planet, and on one else thinks that? Hmm...

They won’t get anywhere even remotely close to that.

Weak law.

Shaman of Qanon was given 4 years in prison now trying to appeal it.

I am still most interested to know who the five or six members of Congress where who personally led groups of visitors through the US Capital on 5 January. At the time the Capital was closed to visitors but there were five or six groups led by members of Congress who visited the Capital that day. Who were these members of Congress? Who were the visitors and what areas of the Capital were they shown? Quite a few of the "tourists" who came to the Capital on 6 January knew exactly where to find the offices of specific members of Congress, information that is not generally available to the public but might have been show them the day before when they toured the Capital as a guest of a member of Congress. Might any of these visitors be among those arrested for the insurrection on 6 January? This is what I am more interested to know.

Mate, there is video of them carrying a noose, chanting 'hang mike pence', and they invaded the capitol.

Countless videos and records of people, including celebrities, wishing death to President Trump. None of them were charged either - and many were praised by their tolerant bretheren.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Countless videos and records of people, including celebrities, wishing death to President Trump.

Fake news.

None of them were charged either

So they should charge them with fake crimes?

Oh, and I can give you hundreds of videos full of cries of 'hang mike pence', so lets not be silly and try to claim these are equivalent, mmkay?

Oh yeah, and:

Ever notice how the only people claiming it's disproven are from a single political party in the entire planet, and on one else thinks that? Hmm...

Trump phoned his aids on the morning of the 6th asking how Biden could be prevented from being made president.

Trump phoned his aids on the morning of the 6th asking how Biden could be prevented from being made president.

Seems they responded with "well, we could get the mob to hang Mike Pence", and start an insurrection...

Should be easy to provide video links and name a few names.

Well, here is Trump stating that the people calling for Mike Pence's execution should be excused: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOpWCtNqFQM

They won’t get anywhere even remotely close to that. A few months in prison and then I’m sure many of them will turn around and file a lawsuit against the State And take legal action for having their civil rights violated under the law.

Scott Fairlamb was sentenced to 41 months in prison for assaulting an officer followed by 36 months of supervised release. Good luck suing for a violation of his civil rights. A civil right to assault a cop? Sure thing. Jacob Chansley also got 41 months in the slam. Leaving a written note threatening the VP, a fact documented by a video taken as he did it by a reporter from the New Yorker, probably didn't help his cause.

They both pled guilty btw so again what is this rights violation you mention?

Btw, have a look at that video filmed by a crew from the New Yorker and see how violent some of that mob was.

https://www.newyorker.com/news/video-dept/a-reporters-footage-from-inside-the-capitol-siege

Yep, just a day at the park.

Mate, there is video of them carrying a noose, chanting 'hang mike pence', and they invaded the capitol.

Now the problem for the prosecution is trying to show “intent” if they can’t prove what was in the persons mind at the time of the incident, it’s over and so far, not a single detained person was charged with attempted murder. I can have a noose all day and walk around the street with it, caring a photo of any Democrat, take your pic, I cannot be arrested or even detained just because of that, they have to prove that I intentionally want to kill someone, if they can’t do that, they have to let me go and if they don’t do that, I take my time and when everything is ready I’ll file a lawsuit against them

Ever notice how the only people claiming it's disproven are from a single political party

Yeah, We do have an innocent until guilty normally in this country, so it’s really not an uncommon thing to not prejudge until of verdict is read.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Fake news.

Kathy griffin, Johnny Depp, Madonna, Pearl Jam, the list is way too long and extensive

So they should charge them with fake crimes?

Either you’ll be fair and charge people equally that do outrageous things, such as holding a decapitated head from the former president, that’s a start right there. If you don’t want to do that, fine, don’t create a two tier justice system.. mmkay?

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Kathy griffin, Johnny Depp, Madonna, Pearl Jam, the list is way too long and extensive

Well, Tucker Carlson and Raymond Arroyo called for Trump's death too. So I guess they all join the team.

"Ex-Trump aide Meadows cooperating with House Jan 6 panel"

How do we explain so many of trump's LOYAL sycophants' willingness to testify to what they experienced under the influence of 'trumpism'.

I suggest an entry into the next revised addition of the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual), which describes and categorizes 'mental illness', of a common (historically) Human mass derangement whose major uniqueness is that it is communicable and that it be called after its most recent and clearly identifiable outbreak, 'trumpism syndrome'. While it has many identifiable characteristic signs, the most salient seems to be 'cognitive blindness' albeit it's not clear if this is a result of, or susceptibility to, this mental derangement. Another sign seems to be 'virulent sycophantism', a pre-existing co-morbidity, which seems mitigable when exposed to light...as we see here in this report of a 'recovering' trumpister.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Now the problem for the prosecution is trying to show “intent” if they can’t prove what was in the persons mind at the time of the incident, it’s over and so far, not a single detained person was charged with attempted murder.

Only because they couldn't find Pence. Lucky for him - he'd be swinging from a flagpole for daring certify the results of a democratic election. Evil, evil man.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Well, Tucker Carlson and Raymond Arroyo called for Trump's death too.

They absolutely did not. If they did, they would have been off the air.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Even Meadows knows that Trump's claims of Executive Privilege are a farce. Executive privilege is tied to the office of the President, not to the individual.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I can have a noose all day and walk around the street with it, caring a photo of any Democrat, take your pic, I cannot be arrested or even detained just because of that, they have to prove that I intentionally want to kill someone,

Be careful because depending on the officer and the judge the implied threat can get you serious jail time for making terrorist threats. They don't have to prove intent to act because the threat is implied in how you pose the noose with someone's image.

it’s over and so far, not a single detained person was charged with attempted murder.

The trials are not over yet. Far from it. There have been over 500 people arrested and more to come. Only a few have been tried and for the most part not the most violent suspects.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Well, Tucker Carlson and Raymond Arroyo called for Trump's death too.

They absolutely did not. If they did, they would have been off the air.

Neither did the people you listed. I was just adding to your list of people that didn't call for Trump's execution.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

A lot of the insurrectionists talk big until the prosecutors show them the many videos they have of the them. Once they see there is no reasonable defense for their conduct they plead guilty and hope the judge goes light on them.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Bass you are wrong, this is going to reveal the depths of Trump’s criminality. Already, FROM THIS INVESTIGATION, we know that there was advance planing (that’s called conspiracy) and that Trump called in (that’s called being a conspirator)

And these so called fluffed-up charges to “nonviolent” rioters? 4 years isn’t vacation time (and we haven’t gotten to the really bad guys yet) and beating cops with implements? Not nonviolent.

We all saw this happen on live tv. Your attempts to play it down are either a REALLY weak attempt to gas light, or are evidence of cognitive failure. Did I mention we all saw this on live tv? Because we did. It happened. And there WILL be a reckoning.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Neither did the people you listed. I was just adding to your list of people that didn't call for Trump's execution

Griffin there is an explicit video, online, Madonna and Depp, Pearl Jam online videos. All available to the public. There is not one single online quote or video or Carlson and Arroyo saying that, but if you have a link, put it up because that’s a firing offense of the highest order.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

there WILL be a reckoning.

I'm skeptical. I think America isn't strong enough to hold its corrupt leaders to task. I think Trump will manage to dodge this until next year, when the GOP will win back enough senate seats to block any further investigation.

We all know it happened, but America isn't strong enough to fix it.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

huh, go figure. Turns out little mark doesn’t want to join Stevie B in the joint after all.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Griffin there is an explicit video, online, Madonna and Depp, Pearl Jam online videos. All available to the public.

Same with the videos of Tucker Carlson and Raymond Arroyo calling for Trump's death. Seems everyone is on the same page!

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

if you have a link, put it up

Eh? The videos can all be found at the same place where the videos you mentioned are hosted.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Eh? The videos can all be found at the same place where the videos you mentioned are hosted.

Because they don’t exist. I don’t know why you always do this. Fox like CNN and the other networks would never allow any of their pundits to make such an inflammatory statement. Carlson and Arroyo never said that, they wouldn’t be on air and rightfully so and every knows that. Stop spreading misinformation like this.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Because they don’t exist.

Yes, I know your videos don't exist. I have been saying that from the start. Good to see you're finally ready to admit it.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Yes, I know your videos don't exist. I have been saying that from the start. Good to see you're finally ready to admit it

There you go.

https://youtu.be/AOGrDj330YM

But we all know you can’t show anything of the sort where Tucker or Arroyo said anything outrageous and inflammatory like these people. So why you would even make such a game is irresponsible and reckless.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

There you go.

Why did you post a video that does't support your assertion:

Griffin there is an explicit video, online, Madonna and Depp, Pearl Jam online videos. All available to the public.

There is no call for death in that video.

Unlike in the videos of Tucker Carlson calling for Trump's death.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Why did you post a video that does't support your assertion:

You were the one that said it doesn’t exist.

.There is no call for death in that video.

Innuendos, the Griffin makeshift head

Unlike in the videos of Tucker Carlson calling for Trump's death.

Then show it. You talk a lot, but you have really nothing to show on these outlandish statements. Prove us wrong, but we know and you know you won’t and can’t, no reason to mislead. Like the old saying goes, put up or…..

Yeah, We do have an innocent until guilty normally in this country, so it’s really not an uncommon thing to not prejudge until of verdict is read.

You are very selected in applying that statement. In another post recently you didn't apply that and stated the person was guilty even without a trial.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Yeah, We do have an innocent until guilty normally in this country

Wow, you must have been embarrassed by the "lock her up" chants that Trump lead for years.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

You are very selected in applying that statement.

I’m not and even if I have a personal opinion, it doesn’t apply to the rule of law and it seems like the Dems have overstepped their legal boundaries again.

In another post recently you didn't apply that and stated the person was guilty even without a trial.

No, I did not. Even if I think a person is guilty that is just my personal.

The GQP is a death cult for the feeble of mind, weak of heart, and poor of conscience

Not sure about all that, but prepare for the red wave coming next year.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Why did you post a video that does't support your assertion:

Certain posters type "[thing I think is true]" into Google and copy and paste the first link without reading or watching it. One such poster, trying to say Robert Mueller was a terrible, corrupt person, posted an article that praised him to high heaven as their evidence that he was bad.

It's almost as if the far-right don't care about or believe in objective truth.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

bass4funk

so when you post a person who is guilty without a trial, that is just your personal opinion. Then you should state that, which you don't. Otherwise, you think the charged are not guilty until convicted by a court.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

bass4funk: I can say that people are guilty before a trial because it's just my opinion.

Also bass4funk: people I don't like expressing their opinion that someone is guilty is literally the worst thing in the world, and it should be banned

1 ( +4 / -3 )

bass4funk

you posted Ghislaine Maxwell is guilty even though her trial has just begun. Nothing about that just being a personal opinion. You are very selective.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

so when you post a person who is guilty without a trial, that is just your personal opinion.

Yes.

Then you should state that, which you don't. Otherwise, you think the charged are not guilty until convicted by a court.

Why? I’m not on the jury. That should be obvious, we can all have our opinions. I don’t need to expand on that, it’s self-explanatory.

bass4funk: I can say that people are guilty before a trial because it's just my opinion.

Yes

Also bass4funk: people I don't like expressing their opinion that someone is guilty is literally the worst thing in the world, and it should be banned

No, people can say what they want. We have our opinions when it comes to Jan 6. I can’t change your opinion and you can’t change mine. I just want these people to be treated with the rights every American is born with and not as a hostile foreign combatant. The more they violate these people rights, the more money these people will later get.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

you posted Ghislaine Maxwell is guilty even though her trial has just begun. Nothing about that just being a personal opinion. You are very selective

Yes, I do believe she’s guilty based on the evidence and what we know so far, I deeply believe she’s guilty, but it’s up to a jury to determine that, not my job.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

bass4funk

The more they violate these people rights, the more money these people will later get.

What rights were violated?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

you posted Ghislaine Maxwell is guilty even though her trial has just begun. Nothing about that just being a personal opinion. You are very selective

Yes, I do believe she’s guilty based on the evidence and what we know so far, I deeply believe she’s guilty, but it’s up to a jury to determine that, not my job.

In your opinion but you are not an investigator, lawyer or member of the jury. You have not personally examined the evidence.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

In my opinion, all those rioters charged with invading and damaging the Capitol Building and attacking officers, destroying property and looting are guilty from the mountain of evidence and none have had any personal rights violated.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Treason, insurrection, desecration of the U.S. Constitution. This traitor along with his master and other cronies deserve to wear orange jumpsuits and do some time together in a maximum security prison. They won't, but they should.

Trump is guilty.

I said no such thing, of course.
