In May 2022, Trump received a grand jury subpoena ordering him to turn over any records with classified markings, and officials from the Justice Department and FBI met with Trump's attorneys in June to enforce the subpoena. At that June meeting, the lawyers handed over a single envelope containing 38 documents with classified markings.

In a certification drafted by Corcoran and signed by Bobb, they attested they had thoroughly searched the premises and found no other records bearing classification markings. That claim later proved to be false, as the FBI discovered about 100 additional classified records among some 13,000 government documents in its Aug. 8 search.

And there you have it - clear obstruction of justice...

The question now is, did Trump collude with his lawyers to obstruct or did he lie to them?

The article is about security, and it says that an indictments could come as early as next week, and further goes on to say, "possible indictment" meaning they didn't have any knowledge of whether it would happen or not.

The NBC article was just reporting on law enforcement activities that were taking place, and providing context as to why those activities were occurring. I suppose they could have left off "as early as next week", but I know that journalists typically try to answer the 5 W's to the extent that facts are known, which sometimes they are not, so that is why they qualified their language with "as early as next week".
