I love the pic - Dem is practically apoplectic at the thought of President Trump. Got news for you: Trump 2020!

"it appears that the president believes that the Constitution does not apply to his White House,

Trump probably only knows the 2nd Amendment, very little if anything else about the Constitution. And he probably only knows about the 2nd because his lackeys like the criminal conman Roger Stone told him he can attract a base of followers by pushing for more guns in more private citizen's hands. (And maybe because Trump owns shares in guns and ammo corporations? Has Trump provided current info on his financial practices?)

Trump seems to think the US is his private real estate company. He wants to manage (mismanage?) the country the same way he mismanaged his various failed businesses, which needed loans from 'foreign financiers' because US banks knew he was inept and corrupt. Does Trump expect 'foreign financiers' to bail the US government out of the messes he's currently making?

Or just expect future generations of taxpayers to foot the mounting bills for his reckless policies. Gens Y & Z: you're stuck.

She was 18 yrs old. What supervisory responsibility?

I'm a little confused as to why someone with such limited experience would be placed in that role.

The quicker President Trump is gone, the better, but these side-attacks aren't helping.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Isn't ordering someone to ignore a rightful subpoena and break the law a crime in and of itself? Dictatorship here we come.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

She was 18 yrs old. What supervisory responsibility?

Lol no she wasn't. The article says 18 years experience. I for one, would like to know how/why Donny et Al know more about security clearance and who gets them than the lady with 18 years experience.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Washington Post:

So Congress can ask why and Trump says, because I can. Done and waste of time.

Can doesnt mean should? thats all they have? ridiculous.

Trump can give anyone he wants a security clearance — but Congress can ask why

‘Can’ doesn’t always mean ‘should’ when it comes to presidential powers.

"Last fall, Ms. Newbold filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, accusing Mr. Kline of moving office files to a shelf several feet above her, deliberately out of her reach, beginning in December 2017. That month, she hired Mr. Passman, her lawyer."

Disgruntled employee who is claiming she is discriminated against because of dwarfism.

And somehow, you magically know this person wasn't discriminated against. We can dissolve all the courts now.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

We can dissolve all the courts now.

@Blacklabel and other Trump-uber-alles backers probably know it would be bad optics to dissolve all the courts. Some among Trump's base recognize the Constitution calls for separations of powers and know it would look bad to change that by dissolving the courts.

They most likely just want courts controlled by Trump that rubberstamp his dictates. 'Nobody disobeys Trump' in their 'totalitarianism now' minds.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Say the people who are proposing to add as many justices as necessary for liberals to have a majority on the Supreme Court.

im all for courts. Have to prove allegations and beyond a reasonable doubt. The only real problem is getting anyone who is a democrat to actually appear in a court to begin with.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Typical bunch of losers.

When Trump is done with the White House no future President will be held accountable for anything.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Typical bunch of losers

Yeah, what a bunch of losers the Dems are! Go ahead, Dems, do the contempt vote, it's just gonna make a 2020 Trump victory even easier. Omg, the Dems are so screwed for 2020 and it's of their own doing.

According to a committee memo, Newbold said the disqualifying issues included foreign influence, conflicts of interest, financial problems, drug use, personal conduct and criminal conduct.

Well, that sums up the Trump Crime Family fairly accurately....

Only thing missing is "cavorting with porn stars and Playboy Bunnies"...

Imagine if Obama had been taking any help whatsoever from the Russians during either of his campaigns. Here, as Mueller Report has stated: "The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion." The Republicans would have been foaming at the mouth and demanding to get to the bottom of the Russian Connection if it was Obama. Stunning, hmm, well, not really I guess.

"Just a couple of Facebook ads." Jared Kushner

Honestly, whose word are you going to believe, Mueller's or Kushner's?

As if the WH would listen to idiots like Cummings and Nadler. ROFL

Boy, they are making it too easy for Trump to slide into a second term. Democrats, keep on trying, guess you like the pain. Lol

Sore losers strike again.

Democrats playbook all the way.

Cummings owes BIG back taxes. AOC should handle this. She is clean.

Trump's gambit is clear: Simply stonewall Congress on everything. Two faults with this:

1) Pretending concerns don't exist doesn't make them go away; it just draws out revelations;

2) Trump has few friends. Of course the Dems loathe him, but his disregard for the law is beginning to cost him GOP support as well. Dems sentiment is not to bother with impeachment, but if Trump continues stonewalling, that sentiment may change.

He is doing himself no favors.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I'm not sure contempt for the law is going to sway the 33% that will support him. I don't see any of them here showing any concerns for any of the things he's done whether it's bragging about molesting women, committing fraud, obstructing justice, the pathological lying right to their faces. What will stonewalling change?

Trump won't lose because Democrats are investigating a proven scam artist. He'll lose because he hasn't accomplished anything. If the election were today, what would he run on? The botched handling of North Korea? Peace in the Middle East even further away? Trade wars with Europe, China, and Canada? No new trade deals at all? No healthcare deal? His love of Putin? Obstructing justice?

The only thing he could possibly run on is not screwing up the economy Obama handed off to him, except for the stock market drops after he says something dumb.

He'll just make outrageous lies to scare the uneducated portion of his base sprinkled with hints of racism for middle America and lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of lies. And his fans will cheer his lies and ask for more. America was never working for them anyway.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

lets try some honesty. No poll has Trump at 33%. So contempt of Congress? Just like Eric Holder? That didn’t seem to hurt him at all he is still out there talking nonsense about Bill Barr.

Trump won't lose because Democrats are investigating a proven scam artist. He'll lose because he hasn't accomplished anything.

What? Lol

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/trumps-list-289-accomplishments-in-just-20-months-relentless-promise-keeping

If the election were today, what would he run on?

The economy. Did the see the close yesterday? My God, we are back on track again. So what will the Democrats run on? Ahhh income redistribution, on that alone the Dems don’t have a chance.

The botched handling of North Korea? Peace in the Middle East even further away? Trade wars with Europe, China, and Canada? No new trade deals at all? No healthcare deal? His love of Putin? Obstructing justice?

Again, if the economy is doing good, Dems are going to have a tough time.

The only thing he could possibly run on is not screwing up the economy Obama handed off to him, except for the stock market drops after he says something dumb.

No one in their right and stable mind believes that if you are honest. Trump was handed one of THE slowest recovery in US history. Any President that is proud of a GDP under 3% deserves to lose....land badly.

He'll just make outrageous lies to scare the uneducated portion of his base sprinkled with hints of racism for middle America and lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of lies. And his fans will cheer his lies and ask for more. America was never working for them anyway.

Naw, his fans know that the media is full of crap and their indoctrination spells don’t on them. Failed again.

SuperLib isn't talking about polling, he's saying that there will always be a bare minimum of 33% of Republicans in the senate who would not vote to convict if he was impeached, no matter what he did. And he is right.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

The economy. Did the see the close yesterday? My God, we are back on track again.

??? You've argued before, when the stock market fell, that the stock market is irrelevant to the economy as a whole.

Yup, for once he is so right about that.

??? You've argued before, when the stock market fell, that the stock market is irrelevant to the economy as a whole.

Not for businesses and that’s all that matters, but if you want to talk turkey about the economy, we can do that as well.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

As if the WH would listen to idiots like Cummings and Nadler. ROFL

Exactly, who cares about the Constitution and the separation of powers - Kings (or Crime Dons) don't need Constitutions...

Boy, they are making it too easy for Trump to slide into a second term. Democrats, keep on trying, guess you like the pain. Lol

You mean sliding into his orange jump suit...

Trump won't lose because Democrats are investigating a proven scam artist. He'll lose because he hasn't accomplished anything.

What? Lol

You bet - and his biggest accomplishment is re-energizing Stormy Daniels career...

The botched handling of North Korea? Peace in the Middle East even further away? Trade wars with Europe, China, and Canada? No new trade deals at all? No healthcare deal? His love of Putin? Obstructing justice?

Again, if the economy is doing good, Dems are going to have a tough time.

Or put another way, yea, he's screwed all those up, but we're Trumpers, we don't care if he obstructs justice 10 times or shoots someone on 5th Ave...

Yea, and just imagine if he had been handed an economy that was on the cusp of the greatest Depression since 1929 by Bush and the Repubs...

He'll just make outrageous lies to scare the uneducated portion of his base sprinkled with hints of racism for middle America and lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of lies. And his fans will cheer his lies and ask for more. America was never working for them anyway.

And as demonstrated by Trumper comments here - BINGO!
