Um......... that's how democracy works - letting people decide who they want
Then it's no longer democracy when the population don't get to decide
That's not "Democracy, Chinese-stye" - that's "Authoritarianism, Chinese-style" (authoritarianism in the guise of democracy)

Hong Kong has its own legal structure and boundaries, and rights are secured, including freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of the press.
Hong Kong will enjoy "a high degree of autonomy, except in foreign and defence affairs" for 50 years thus being part of one nation with China. But China is trying to repress Hong Kong's nation and people. China has effectively expelled many US journalists in order to hide their crimes in Hong Kong, but it has also prevented them from work in Hong Kong.

China sucks!!!
I hope the world will finally wake up and treat this country in the "way it deserves"!
And that means, "stop licking China's Ass" just for business and money!
And the whole world should support Hongkong and Taiwan in each possible way.
