One of the great Republican ironies. . .

Republicans love Russia, but they hate Iran. Why?!

Silly Europe send weapons to Kyiv regime too..

Same thing..

It's a war..

Ukraine is defending herself. Fascist Russia haa invaded, and is waging a war of aggression, killing children, women and civilian men.

There's a big difference.

Countries are free to trade with whoever they want - it's a multipolar world

Then why’d you get so upset about sanctions?

Countries are free to trade with whoever they want - it's a multipolar world. Besides, the collective west has been pumping offensive arms into Kyiv since well before 2022, which they used to assault the Donbas.

Russia's army is pathetic, but Javelins and training are not a threat to Russia.

Iran well understands that Moscow is conducting a perfectly legitimate police action in the Donbas

Yes, you have to bomb and invade for peace. So few people understand this.

after eight years of diplomacy - the Minsk Agreements - was sabotaged by the west was bankroll and arm the unsavory political forces there, which provoked the crackdown.

Russia wasn't a party to the agreements but it was the primary roadblock by not withdrawing from the Donbas.

They understand it all too well because they have seen that same west break entire countries in their region over the last two decades and beyond, with western created and sponsored ISIS becoming a proxy against Iran/Syria/Russia in the middle east.

Creating your own terrorists is not an acceptable response to terrorists that aren't backed by the West anyways.

Russia and Iran working together is not some post-2022 recent thing. They have been cooperating in Syria for many years.

Yes, they have been propping up Assad since 2011. Civilized countries would wonder what the end game is with that.

Not without facing sanctions.

Not sure how much the average Russian will be "winning" with Putin and his cronies gorging themselves at the public trough.

Yes, but they are free to air their grievances.

And then they will be arrested.

Yeah, they received it from the Trump flakeout on the JCPOA.

so Joe Biden hasn’t unfrozen anything these days? Barack Obama didn’t send pallets of cash? Interesting.

Biden's funds were refrozen. Did Trump unlock infinite money from China to Iran by blowing up the snapback option? Why yes, yes he did.

Sure, and countries can accept the consequences for their actions. 2024 is already turning into a year of accountability, and I do believe 2025 will be the same.

hold your head high, Blacklabel, knowing that this guy is your US politics ally.

btw, Iran does not have that money. As you know.

we are told a lot of things as true that are not.

Like how Trump won in 2020.

Speaking of missiles, is this that recent HIMARS hit?

I don’t know that they don’t have that money. we are told a lot of things as true that are not.

Oh, ridiculous. You can't know yourself whether Iran received "pallets of cash from Obama" without visually seeing it. Likewise, we all believe lots of things despite never actually being able to witness it for ourselves.

Do you have any proof they received the cash? Because I can cite articles that show the cash was again refrozen before they were able to receive the funds.

It’s like Iran suddenly has received some extra money from somewhere and is using it to help Russia.

Yeah, they received it from the Trump flakeout on the JCPOA.

One of the great Republican ironies. . .

Republicans love Russia, but they hate Iran. Why?!

makes no sense, especially considering that Iran seems to be their domestic policy role model…

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Ukraine and Israel are similar. They were both attacked. They both have the right to defend themselves.

The difference is that Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons as an act of good-will and faith, so Russia was able to send in troops in 2014 and force good Ukrainian people to leave their homes, cities, to avoid the mass of Thugs from Russia invading.

Israel is able to end the terror from inside their country and they won't stop until all the terrorist are gone. Ukraine would do the same thing to Russia, if they could.

To Western leaders - if we don't help Ukraine fight Russia, too soon Russia will force NATO countries to fight on their own land using their own soldiers. Much better to fund Ukraine with weapons, money, food, training, anything they need to fight Russia AND attack weapon suppliers to Russia - like NK and Iran. This is all obvious - or it should be to any intelligent person.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

so Joe Biden hasn’t unfrozen anything these days? Interesting.

No, it isn't "interesting." Iran never received the unfrozen funds.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Iran supplied them in return for Russian gold.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Obama who brought Iran into the fold, making them a partner who had dropped their anti-civil ways. Then Trump broke that like he does everything, forcing Iran back to their old ways.

One of Trump's bigger disasters.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

That thing that they told you was true, and wasn't, cost Fox $250 million.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Like the guy feeding Russian intelligence to the GOP, that the GOP claimed proved Biden corrupt.

Yep, Biden administration seems to understand this, evidenced by the US once again single handedly blocking a UN Gaza ceasefire resolution and instead preparing to send yet another shipment of bombs to Israel to blow up more women and children in Gaza.

And yet nothing from you about Ukraine. I know there is a word to describe focusing on your interests only. I'm sure it will come to me at some point.

None of this is weapons proliferation is a surprise, war is big business. World has become much more dangerous and militarized, catalyst - US NATO Ukraine Proxy War.

Catalyst was Putin's War.

Russian military has broken the stalemate in Ukraine war, Robert Gates, former CIA director and secretary of Defense, said Wednesday, following Moscow’s successful push to take front-line city of Avdiivka.

“No longer stalemate. Russian's regained momentum,” Gates told The Washington Post’s David Ignatius in a streaming interview. “Everything I’m reading is that Russians are on the offensive along 600-mile front.”

Momentum does not equate into rolling into Kyiv anytime soon.

Unnamed sources sure are keeping busy.

Iran has free and fair elections for clergy-approved candidates.

sure seems that’s what the Republicans have in mind…isn’t a bit of respect for sempai in order?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Yep, will be interesting to see American voters cast their judgment on the current administration's Gaza massacre enabling policy come election time. "Abandon Biden" movement getting traction apparently.

I agree. Do you think Trump will win in November?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

How many sources swore that Saddam Hussein had an active WMD program? When all the disparate sources are merely repeating the lies one source told them, well, it doesn't make it any truer.

And odds are good that Iran is not selling anything it might need if (well, likely when) the newly elected (next week) Majalais and Assembly decide that it would be unacceptable to let Netanyahu continue to slaughter Palestinian civilians whether the ICJ gives a formal mandate for it to intervene or not.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Even Washington elite are becoming honest in public about the reality on the ground in Ukraine, the lack of troops to fight Russia etc.

This is just to as likely to be another "pass-the-bill" orientated newsflash like the moonraker space weapon and all the unhinged hysteria recently.

six sources told Reuters

Six different CIA people said the same thing? It must be true then...

-5 ( +8 / -13 )

None of this is weapons proliferation is a surprise, war is big business. World has become much more dangerous and militarized, catalyst - US NATO Ukraine Proxy War.

Iran and NK are two HUGE beneficiaries of weapons proliferation. Any surprise, security situation in Japan, across Asia and Mid-East worsening every day? Global terrorism & crime syndicate risks also rapidly rising.

Chaos & Destabilization does not lead to Peace & Prosperity. Rather it leads to economic damage, higher inflation, worse demographics and damaged sentiment.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Doesn't matter. Ukraine still clearly on course to win this. Kamalas speech in Munich told it how it is.

just needs a little more money

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

I don’t know that they don’t have that money. we are told a lot of things as true that are not.

If not that money where did all this money come from? Ayatollah sneakers?

And how did they get money from being released from the nuke deal by that bad, bad man?

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Countries are free to trade with whoever they want - it's a multipolar world. Besides, the collective west has been pumping offensive arms into Kyiv since well before 2022, which they used to assault the Donbas. And unilateral sanctions are illegal.

These missiles will get some real time testing in a symmetric battlefield environment, so future improvements can be made and there's some prime targets. It's beneficial for both Tehran and Moscow from this point of view.

-14 ( +7 / -21 )
