If you have to pay for it, probably not being a nice person. Not judging. Ok yes I am. It's funny the President f the USA has to pay for sex. Guess his mojo doesn't include his wife.

"It's hard to impeach somebody who hasn't done anything wrong and who's created the greatest economy in the history of our country," Trump told Reuters in an Oval Office interview.

Yeah well, what do you expect someone who is going to claim mental deficiency as a defense!

4 ( +6 / -2 )

He certainly has chutzpah, doesn't he?

No doubt the democrats will keep trying until they find the right technicality to begin the impeachment process.  Partisan politics and polarization at its "best".

No doubt the democrats will keep trying until they find the right technicality to begin the impeachment process. Partisan politics and polarization at its "best".

Rewind the tape to the Clinton era and replace the word "democrats" with "republicans" and we just have wash-rinse-repeat, politics as usual in Washington. The only difference being a president who fights back at every slight.

Only some with little or no self-confidence finds the need to respond to every little slight! (Talking about Trump here!)

"I'm not concerned, no. I think that the people would revolt if that happened," he said.

Not that you'd personally fan the flames or incite it, right? And let's all be honest, this is the same type of language we'll hear from our aspiring despot when he loses in 2020 (if he makes it that far). I was robbed, maybe my people should be paying visits to polling stations, armed if necessary etc.

While revolt would be tragic for any innocents affected, it would be interesting to see the full force of our police state brought to bear on the goons he's enabled for the past few years.

"Earlier this year, Trump acknowledged repaying Cohen for$130,000 paid to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford. He previously disputed knowing anything about the payments."

The man flat out lies. Gets caught in lies. His fans don't care.

Is it the reality-TV style drama that they love? I don't get it.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

he can always, always plead insanity

2 ( +4 / -2 )

"It's hard to impeach somebody who hasn't done anything wrong and who's created the greatest economy in the history of our country,"

Two lies in one sentence, fairly routine for him.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Trump is not the first gentleman who became President to disentangle himself of trysts with women.

There are several before his time.

The question is did he use his own money or campaign money ?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

THOU SHALL NOT COVENANT THY NEIGHBOURS WIFE. That's Gods take on this. Presidential fornicatian cash over morals. Didn't Bill get impeached for less?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Trumpworld, led by their devoted Dear Leader, is in complete meltdown and denial.

He's an un-indicted co-conspirator in two felony offenses and 16 individuals in his campaign have had documented contact with Russians.

His son and son-in-law are likely to be indicted.

The Trump Foundation CEO has been given immunity and is cooperating with the US District Attorney.

His 10 year personal attorney and "fixer" is divulging secrets and documents.

He can't hire anyone into his administration because they can't stand working in "Crazytown" and don't want to be prosecuted.

This is way worse than Nixon - and we know how that turned out.

Just to top it off, his Supreme Court nominee who he fought so hard for just voted with the progressives on his first case.

Heads are exploding...

6 ( +7 / -1 )

The question is did he use his own money or campaign money ?

It appears that the money was his own, so the question is whether or not that payment can be thought of as a campaign contribution.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

"It's hard to impeach somebody who hasn't done anything wrong and who's created the greatest economy in the history of our country,"

I'd say you're in a spot of bother then, Donald.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

The Trump Foundation CEO has been given immunity and is cooperating with the US District Attorney.

Now that gives me hope! We all know that's just as openly fraudulent as Trump University.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

If Cohen is going to prison for making the payments, then Trump is guilty of the same offence, if he directed Cohen to do so.

His repayment of the money suggests he did.

Best chance for Trump is to win the next election and stay in office until he dies.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

"I haven't heard this, but I can only tell you this: Hillary Clinton - her husband got money, she got money, she paid money, why doesn't somebody talk about that?" Trump said.

This sounds like a totally incorent ramble to me. Anyone who starts a sentence, 'I haven't heard this, but I can only tell you this' clearly has nothing worth listening to.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

It's said, "Fools rush in where the wise dare not tread." Both Flynn and Cohen are begging judges to spare them from jail, which Mueller seems amenable to considering their cooperation but a judge might not view so leniently. Manafort, meanwhile, will be lucky not to die in prison. And over a dozen further indictments are said to be under seal.

Trump may be correct in not fearing impeachement, but his slim measure of accompishments to date will not be added to as he spends his time defending himself; his chances of reelection are mostly nil when the Mueller report is released; and he faces possible prosecution once out of office.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

THOU SHALL NOT COVENANT THY NEIGHBOURS WIFE. That's Gods take on this. Presidential fornicatian cash over morals. Didn't Bill get impeached for less?

In Trump's defence, I want aware that Daniels was married. But I am not sure that Trump had any interest in religion whatsoever.

"removal of the president from office further requires a two-thirds majority in the Senate"

No worries, in 2020 the Democrats will take two thirds of the Senate, right? Tee hee!

"while Donny was off sleeping with pornstars"

Stormy has to pay $290,000 to reimburse Trump for legal fees. She should sue Avenatti. No, wait, he's pretty much broke.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Trump claims to be unafraid of his impending impeachment, but he must be afraid, very afraid of Melania who seems to be quietly biding her time shopping for the latest fashions while waiting for his head to roll so that she can take him to the cleaner's and make a mint from her tell-all, ghostwritten best selling expose of the orange Pinocchio serving his sentence.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

And defends payment women (Stormy) make to him.  As much as he is a tool, must say that some of his claims of fake news appear to be at least partially justified.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Serrano, Trump can hide behind the GOP firewalls of such diminutive states as North Dakota and Wyoming in the Senate, but the House is lost to them for the forseeable future. But impeachment is not what worries Trump - it is prosecution of his children and in-laws, and possibly himself when forced from office.

"It's hard to impeach somebody who hasn't done anything wrong and who's created the greatest economy in the history of our country,"

We all know it isn't Trump.

1991 - 2001 is the longest period of economic expansion in current US history. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_economic_expansions_in_the_United_States 2009 until today is the 2nd longest. The 1960s is the 3rd longest period.

Trumpworld, led by their devoted Dear Leader, is in complete meltdown and denial.

He's an un-indicted co-conspirator in two felony offenses and 16 individuals in his campaign have had documented contact with Russians.

Russians that will never set foot in the US, what a joke.

His son and son-in-law are likely to be indicted.

Ok and?

The Trump Foundation CEO has been given immunity and is cooperating with the US District Attorney.

Ok and?

His 10 year personal attorney and "fixer" is divulging secrets and documents.

But he’s not composing enough for Mueller, so the threats of putting him in jail if he doesn’t give them what he wants.

He can't hire anyone into his administration because they can't stand working in "Crazytown" and don't want to be prosecuted.

Or maybe they just don’t want to be slimed and attacked constantly by the Democrats and media for having an....opinion?

This is way worse than Nixon - and we know how that turned out.

Different time, era, circumstances and what was then a real crime.

Just to top it off, his Supreme Court nominee who he fought so hard for just voted with the progressives on his first case.

Which was not a big case at all and for the life of me I don’t know why liberals think he’s going to be voting only for conservative causes, he’s not Ginsberg and don’t worry, he’ll be getting under the hair of liberals soon enough

Heads are exploding...

And they still can’t get this guy out. Lol

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Bass: But he’s not composing enough for Mueller, so the threats of putting him in jail if he doesn’t give them what he wants.

This is an unsupported accusation pushed exclusively by Trump, his supporters, and the right-wing media. To date they have offered no corroborating evidence.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

May, might, if, likely, could, possibly. If you have to use those words you have nothing except speculation.

all I have to do is add the word “not” after those and the speculation swings my way.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Trump fans don't deal in speculation. They know that Mueller has nothing. They know he tampers with witnesses. They know his personal feelings about Trump. They know Rosenstein is behind the witch hunt because they know he hates Trump. They know the DOJ is corrupt and only goes after Trump.

No need for "might" or "may" or "possibly."

3 ( +3 / -0 )

all I have to do is add the word “not” after those and the speculation swings my way.

Doesn't matter whose the speculation is. There are still ongoing investigations. Your speculation isn't regarded at all by the investigators.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Russians that will never set foot in the US, what a joke.

Russians indicted for attacking our democracy and this Trump supporter thinks its a joke...shows how much they care about our country...

His son and son-in-law are likely to be indicted.

Ok and?

He'll go to trial, be convicted and go to jail - after ratting out Daddy...

The Trump Foundation CEO has been given immunity and is cooperating with the US District Attorney.

Ok and?

Use your imagination...

His 10 year personal attorney and "fixer" is divulging secrets and documents.

But he’s not composing enough for Mueller, so the threats of putting him in jail if he doesn’t give them what he wants.

He's not fully cooperating with the US Attorney, he's freely cooperated with Mueller - COLLUSION!

He can't hire anyone into his administration because they can't stand working in "Crazytown" and don't want to be prosecuted.

Or maybe they just don’t want to be slimed and attacked constantly by the Democrats and media for having an....opinion?

Nope, I think its Crazytown.....

This is way worse than Nixon - and we know how that turned out.

Different time, era, circumstances and what was then a real crime.

Same stench - even more crimes now...

Kavaungh - voting with Liberals - on his first case - LMFAO....

And I'm glad we agree that draft dodging pervs, Republican or Democrat, have no place in the White House...

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Revolt? Most of us would be dancing in the streets! The day he leaves office, however that happens, should be designated a national holiday!

"It's hard to impeach somebody who hasn't done anything wrong and who's created the greatest economy in the history of our country," Trump told Reuters in an Oval Office interview.

He's right. Obama is unimpeachable.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Next, let's see you defend Non-Disclosure Agreements.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

This is an unsupported accusation pushed exclusively by Trump, his supporters, and the right-wing media. To date they have offered no corroborating evidence.

Don't need to, but I do know how prosecutors work and then I do listen to one of the most brilliant law professor in the country, so there’s that as well.

Russians indicted for attacking our democracy and this Trump supporter thinks its a joke...shows how much they care about our country...

No, I love my country more than most liberals and yes, I think indicting a bunch of Russians other than for the optics and symbolism of it, it’s a joke.

He'll go to trial, be convicted and go to jail - after ratting out Daddy.

And his Pop will pardon him, should that happen.

He's not fully cooperating with the US Attorney, he's freely cooperated with Mueller - COLLUSION!

Which so far hasn’t implicated Trump whatsoever.

Nope, I think its Crazytown.....

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Go to sleep, bass.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

And his Pop will pardon him, should that happen.

Like a third world tinpot dictatorship - nice.

What disturbs me is the willingness of Trump fans to willingly embrace anti-democratic corrupt practices if it helps their man. Morals clearly have to be left at the door when you board the Trump bus.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Immorality is a necessity to ride the Trump bus. Trumpets here have regularly admitted that as far as they’re concerned, crimes are fine if Trump or his family commit them, democracy is unimportant (see the constant defense of voter suppression and the joy that the majority of people should be subservient to the will of the GOP) and even, in Serrano’s case, that the Presidency should become a Trump dynasty, i.e. he wants the US to become an absolute monarchy.

It’s disgraceful. Shame on Trumpers.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

No, I love my country more than most liberals

This is utter nonsense. You have a different opinion about what is right for your country. It doesn't mean you love your country more. Same goes for anybody who claims this kind of thing from either side.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

This is utter nonsense.

No, it’s really not.

You have a different opinion about what is right for your country.

From a liberal perspective, I do as a conservative and liberals have a very different opinion as to what they see is right for the country.

It doesn't mean you love your country more.

It doesn’t mean I love it any less.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Bass, you simply cannot say you love something more based on a completely debatable opinion. If you believe that then any liberal could say exactly the same about conservative opinions. It's clear you love your country, it's also clear that most liberals do.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

bass4funk: "Ok and?"

I love your feigned indignance at "crimes" committed by Democrats and "lies" committed by them, then turn around when it's Trump and it's, "and?" and "who cares?" despite the lies and crimes being exponentially higher in number and exponentially worse in nature.

"It doesn’t mean I love it any less."

I'm sorry, but someone who has no regard for the laws and Constitution except for when it suits them has ZERO love for their nation.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

bass4funk: "And his Pop will pardon him, should that happen."

So, you're for a man pardoning convicted criminals and being above the law. I thought you said you loved the country? Seems you love dictatorships.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Trump: "The people would revolt."

Me: "The people are already revolted. By you and your 'family values' party."
