Ouch, Don. Getting called a hypothetical liar to your face. That’s gotta hurt.
Fun Fact: Trump is down by 10.4 in the poll of polls.

What desperation. This was a bridge too far, even for Trump.
Im glad this is gaining attention across the news cycle.
Dr. Fauci is a man of strength and integrity. Trump dares not fire him, because he knows it will be the end of his Presidency.

A campaign of lies by a lying, incompetent president.

“Hypocritical” apologies....

Indeed, it seems Dr. Fauci said those words. But Trump's campaign staff took them out of context.
Trump and his political campaign backers have long been known for outright 'fake news-ing' and sliming the truth. See Roger Stone etal.
Trump is the most dishonest politician in US history.
Between now and the election wait for more malicious deep fakes from Trump's staff, the Republican Party, their Rapid Response Team, and their 'foreign' backers.

In July trump was cutting federal funding for “gruesome” fetal tissue research.
In October he’s apparently alive because of it.
Oops.

I'm surprised the Trump supporters here don't have whiplash - as they praise and cite Fauci one day and then trash him the next....
But that's Trump-world - just ask Tillertson, Cohn, Mattis, Kelly, McMaster, Bolton, Cohen, the "Mooch", and don't forget, Amarossa...
And I don't recall Fauci ever saying that wearing a mask is "Anti-American" or that the virus is "just the flu"...
Or telling everyone now that it is "disappearing", when it is resurging across middle America...

Republicans with their gaslighting, hypocrisy and lies all in the service of brainwashing propaganda have turned the techniques of snakeoilmeister Dr. Goebbels up to eleven. Fauci will have to display more feistiness and speak out more forcefully against the political abuse of his name in order to salvage his own honor and self-respect from his lamentable and regrettable association with Trump's maladministration of America's pandemic.

GOPBots, why is it alright for Trump to use aborted fetal tissue in his Covid treatment? Is using aborted fetal tissue evil or not?

Welcome back. Paragraph 4.
Bob Fosse
Reality has consistently been taken out of context for the past 4 years. Enough.
Desert Tortoise
Kind of like how the Trump campaign is using images of Jackie Robinson and Martin Luther King in their campaign imagery. Were Dr. King alive today Mr. Trump would be calling him a communist terrorist.

President Loser.

This has been discussed here numerous times. Initially, very little was known about the virus, and a mask order/request was not deemed necessary. As more information came in, Fauci realized that masks were necessary. This is how science works....initial hypotheses get modified or disposed of with the influx of new and more reliable information. You understand that, right? Good, so no need to continue with the "Fauci said that they weren't necessary" tripe.
Toasted Heretic
The campaign of lies, racism and violence continues.
I wonder how much further the Trump junta can push the American people?
Bob Fosse
That question will remain unanswered or dismissed as “fake news”.
Then the next logical question, which non biased non leftist media sources do you recommend? That’ll remain unanswered too.
Bob Fosse
Fauci was praising a lot of people, many people actually. So many people, believe me. He said to them “Sir, I can't imagine that anybody could be doing more”
He wasn’t praising the president.
Goodlucktoyou
How embarrassing, he just got “trumped”!
Bob Fosse
Well, all 3 dipped their toes in the water. I guess that’ll be it then.

Before trump came in nobody counted presidential lies, but since he started with one(largest crowd at inauguration ever) there have been close to 30,000 lies told.
An average person doesn't tell so many lies in ones's lifetime, forget 3 years.

You're completely sure those valid comments were about Donald Trump and not about healthcare workers in general as he claims?
BlacklabelToday 06:04 pm JST
He says he was praising public health officials. Is the President a public health official?
bass4funkToday 11:30 am JST
So you admit that Dr. Fauci's accusation is correct.

Paragraph 4. Again.

Yall've been calling Trump a dictator for his entire presidency yet are angry that he didn't overstep his powers. Ya'll have only one consistent message - "Orange Man bad."
Fun Fact: Trump is down by 10.4 in the poll of polls.
Another Fun Fact: In 2016 a couple of weeks before the election Reuters had Hillary at 95% chance to win the Electoral College. Tee hee!
Blacklabel
The swing states that Biden is supposedly "winning"?
He is ahead by less than the 2016 Dem candidate who lost those states on election day.
Fauci just regrets his valid comments now because it makes his liberal base angry. Thats what happens when you try to play both sides.
Serrano
I wonder how much further the Trump junta can push the American people?
He's going to push us into the best economy ever next year. :D
It's not the Trump junta, it's the Trump administration. You need to go look up the meaning of junta.
Blacklabel
so the President was specifically excluded from his praise of many people? including the coronavirus task force who works for........the President. I see.
Serrano
NY Gov. Cuomo was also praising Trump's response before he turned on him like the snake he is.
dbsaiya
Sue the campaign if you're serious doc! That's the only way you're going to prevent them from continually using your words out of context and without permission.
bass4funk
It wouldn’t be a first that an administration took words out of context, every single administration have done this.
Not even close to the fake news the media has and continues to perpetuate.
No, he’s not, he has his faults, he can be abrasive (great point) over the top, at times annoying, bold and bombastic, but THE MOST dishonest politician? Not even close.
You will see from the Dems more spin like this...

Then who was Fauci referring to when he said this?
Serrano
In late Feb. and early March Fauci was advising us not to buy and wear masks. Oops.
