If you thought Sturgis was a disaster....

Trump claimed the US was 'rounding the corner'.

Add that to the 20,000 'intentional misinformations' while the death count rises, millions more get sick, medical services are stressed far beyond capacity, Trump's economy fails millions, millions rely on charity organizations which are so strained they can't feed everyone,

while Trump plays golf.

And his supporters LOL because he's dumping the problems he's created on Biden.

Seems Fauci is worried that more and more people are losing interest in his vaccine.

Fauci has his own vaccine? Do share a link.

I did find several instances in the article of Fauci expressing hope at the arrival of vaccines and preparing to implement them.

I guess you were reading between the lines. Please elaborate.

Fauci also appeared on NBC's “Meet the Press,” where he made similar remarks, adding that it's “not too late” for people traveling back home after Thanksgiving to help stop the spread of the virus by wearing masks, staying distant from others and avoiding large groups of people.

If they were too stubborn, stupid or selfish to stay home this year because "Freedom!", they're selfish, stupid dumb to wear a mask or isolate.

unfortunately his supporters are dumb enough to believe everything he bleats.

Especially his supporters who LOL that all the problems caused by Trump, all the deaths, all the sicknesses, all the economic problems will be passed on to Biden.

Fauci is being polite. There will indeed be an even larger surge by next month.

This is not specualtion. It is basic science.

"That's all I hear about now. That's all I hear. Turn on television—'Covid, Covid, Covid, Covid, Covid, Covid.' A plane goes down. 500 people dead, they don't talk about it," Trump told his supporters at a campaign rally in Lumberton, North Carolina, on October 24th. "Covid, Covid, Covid, Covid.' By the way, on November 4, you won't hear about it anymore,"

And one wonders how anyone could support such a lunatic...

I just gave up on the local Rite Aid because the managers won't enforce the statewide mask mandate and they have customers walking around maskless, some quite elderly, with nothing said. The big professionally made sign explaining to customers they have to wear a mask and stay six feet from the next customer? Pushed off to the side where it is very hard to see. Same thing at the several hardware stores. Manly men don't wear "face diapers". Right? Until they develop that cough ..................

So if we can hang together as a country

Ahahaha! Oh Dr. Fauci, you sweet summer child. Do you not know what country you’re in? This is America, where people think masks are a political issue and infecting others with a deadly disease is a ‘right’. Hehe, ‘hang together as a country’. Careful, doctor, people might thing you’re a socialist, talking like that.

trump sent a clear message to congregate, unfortunately his supporters are dumb enough to believe everything he bleats.

If you thought Sturgis was a disaster....

The same idiots give me grief for always wearing a full face helmet and other protective riding gear. No sympathy here.

Making millions and millions unemployed and homeless doesn’t help prevent the spread in winter.

If the virus continues to spread, many will be unemployed anyways because customers won't be going out shopping or dining. Look what happened on Black Friday:

"Pandemic fears, online deals thin U.S. Black Friday crowds"

https://japantoday.com/category/business/update-5-pandemic-fears-online-deals-thin-u.s.-black-friday-crowds

It's a fallacy to believe that merely keeping the physical stores open, that the customers will come - customers don't want to get themselves infected too

Really the only way to return back to normal as fast as possible is to stop spreading the virus

Making millions and millions unemployed and homeless doesn’t help prevent the spread in winter.

Any financial pain can be ameliorated by Congress but Congress can't bring a couple of million Americans back from the dead, which obtw lots of dead Americans has a major economic impact as well.
