The scrutiny of career agents is highly unusual given that rank-and-file FBI agents do not select the cases they are assigned to work on, do not historically switch positions or receive any sort of discipline because of their participation in matters seen as politically sensitive cases and especially because there’s been no evidence any FBI agents or lawyers who investigated or prosecuted the cases engaged in misconduct.

This is highly illegal and just another example of man-baby Trump’s vindictiveness.

Good to see patriotic employees ramming this back up the pipe it came out of.

Purging relevant agencies of partisan subversives is a no-brainer. Particularly when there were certain individuals during the first term bragging to the media about obstructing and overriding executive orders.

Anyone who has done an honest, non-partisan job and was assigned have nothing to fear. Those who pursued a certain agenda do.

Those who pursued a certain agenda do.

That agenda being "prosecuting criminals", of course. But when that criminal happens to be Trump, then "the party of law and order" becomes "the party of LEAVE TRUMP ALOOOOOOONE".

The russian would be keen on removing "subversives".

Anyone who has done an honest, non-partisan job and was assigned have nothing to fear. Those who pursued a certain agenda do.

They are already targeting those who were just doing their jobs.

This whole ongoing saga leads to the interesting question: who is going to investigate the investigators?

If a review finds that a particular person was assigned and wasn't coopted, the most that will happen will be reassignment on same pay scale for more temporary supervision.

Should anyone have acted in concert with partisan forces, clear up your desk now. You're fired!

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

That agenda being "prosecuting criminals", of course. But when that criminal happens to be Trump,

But he’s not, the left were the ones that declared warfare on him, the former President allowed the raid on his home and then lying to the nation he had nothing to do with it, of course he had to sign off on it.

then "the party of law and order" becomes "the party of LEAVE TRUMP ALOOOOOOONE".

No, it becomes the stop using taxpayer money to use the FBI to target political enemies, the agency should never be used to go after any political opponent, this goes way beyond Trump. Can’t wait to for Patel to clean all the rats out and relocate thousands of these agents.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

But he’s not,

Trump is a criminal. Just admit you love crime now, that's all.

Good to see patriotic employees ramming this back up the pipe it came out of.

They’ll more than likely loose since there’s more than enough evidence of what the Feds have did to Trump, years of it. So they can fight this, but they will lose given their past transgressions.

...so that officials could evaluate whether any personnel action was merited.

This is a review.

No one is being targeted.

To conduct a review, the facts have to be laid out for evaluation.

They say they were told on Sunday to fill out surveys about their involvement in the Jan. 6 or Mar-a-Lago investigation...

Filling out a survey is fairly standard procedure. Moreover, this will be a good first test of each and every individual's honesty. Non-partisan assignees who fill it in honestly have zero to fear.

Important to observe the "I" in the FBI motto means Integrity: being honest.

To sump up the MAGA worldview: tasing cops who do their job is great, investigating people who tase cops deserves punishment.

You are under the impression that the president signs off on all search warrants?

then "the party of law and order" becomes "the party of LEAVE TRUMP ALOOOOOOONE".

Now let's launch an investigation into the investigations amirite?

You are under the impression that the president signs off on all search warrants?

Not impression, DOJ can’t just be a rogue out and do whatever it wants without consulting the president first, but then again….hmmm

Now let's launch an investigation into the investigations amirite?

The result will be the same, remember, the Republicans did that before, and the left blew it off, but if that’s where the left want to take it, go for it.

Some "law and order" - Trump and his fellow felons trying to destroy our system of justice...

It's what you expect when a criminal gang somehow manages to get into power...and turn our democracy into a kleptocracy...just the same as the guy he calls a "genius"...

Trump do not get to decide,

Neither the left

Judge has found no evidence of Vindictive Prosecution of Trump,if their was the court would of expose it, Google Trump Vindictive Prosecution

And they will still lose their jobs in the end.

Judges follow something called the law. Can't just make stuff up when you are a judge most of the time.

The hypocrisy is strong with the MAGA.

Really? No one that participated int he investigation has to fear the job? I'm pretty sure that is already not true.

Trump foster lawlessness chaos and the distrust, the FBI and DOJ have a symbolic relationship, Trump has broken this

Sorry, it started with Comey, no one told him to do what he did and the other rogue agents that went after Trump, we heard the tapes from Lisa Page, and her married lover Strzok yeah, don’t go there, you’ll lose all day on that one.

Trump is a convict, codified by law in New York, you do not get to decide your criminal activities are not criminal

But we did get to decide our President, see how that works?

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Federal agents don't get to decide which crimes they investigate.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Federal agents don't get to decide which crimes they investigate.

But the DOJ head does

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

A judge will be the ultimate decider ,not Trump, she will lay down the law to Trump, Trump suffer from criminal amnesia,he forget the last law ,he broken

FBI agents sue over Justice Dept effort to ID employees involved in Trump-related witch hunts

The farce is over.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

A judge will be the ultimate decider ,not Trump, she will lay down the law to Trump, Trump suffer from criminal amnesia,he forget the last law ,he broken

Again, Trump is on good ground with this one given what the Dems tried to do to Trump and the law fare they waged against him to stop him from becoming President, so if these agents want to take him to court, I’m sure he’s happy to take that route.

You cannot investigate without the assistance of a judge, they decide what evidence, and have past knowledge of Trump criminality

1 ( +2 / -1 )

You cannot investigate without the assistance of a judge, they decide what evidence, and have past knowledge of Trump criminality

Well, the left should have thought about that before going after a former president and private citizen, I don’t have a shred of sympathy for any of these people. They made their bed, now they have to deal with it.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

The judge approved Trump search warrant and the judge will come down hard on Trump

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Bass4,how many private citizens have filed criminal charges against Trump ,not one

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Well, the left should have thought about that before going after a former president and private citizen,

So, again, you are saying criminals should not be investigated.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Judges follow something called the law.

Yeah, don’t go there, I don’t want to embarrass on that one, just leave that one alone.

Can't just make stuff up when you are a judge most of the time.

Hmmm

"The agents who brought Tuesday’s lawsuit are not identified by name and are instead referred to as anonymous “John and Jane Does"

Why being anonymous if you are doing the right thing if not covering your sorry ass for being Democrats water boys and girls?

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

So, again, you are saying criminals should not be investigated.

Pam Bondi is on her to doing just that. So yes, I agree. Should be veeeery interesting.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Just wearing a black robe doesn't make someone a judge. But following the rule of the law and the Constitution. Unfortunately, a few of those so called judges have turned out to be political activists on the bench

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

and especially because there’s been no evidence any FBI agents or lawyers who investigated or prosecuted the cases engaged in misconduct.

because no one has even looked yet.
