The GQP's latest nothing burger with an extra slice of bunk and a side of bs.
Their "whistle blowers" don't qualify as such under the legal definition. Their witness has gone "missing". Gym Jordan is so laughably unhinged that he violated House rules by refusing to provide a written copy of their testimony, most likely because it's wholly uncredible.
No wonder they were rooting for a default. They have nothing, not a single accomplishment to run on.

The FD-1023 is from June 30, 2020, when Trump was President. Barr's team reviewed it and did nothing with it.
Lawmakers will have access to the document soon, so they will see everything in it.
The FBI isn't going to make a copy and hand it over because of security concerns, and the GOP knows this. They will imply that the FBI is hiding something by not handing a physical document over....a document they will have already seen in its entirety. So this is all theatre.
The GOP will probably get their headlines and a few appearances in Fox News, then this story will go away and we can all move on with our lives.

Devin Nunes, R-Calif., ranking member on the Intelligence Committee, requested that the whistleblower, the younger Biden and his business partner Devon Archer testify before House investigators in a letter Saturday to Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the committee's chairman. Later Saturday, Schiff poured cold water on the request, saying the impeachment probe would not serve "to carry out the same sham investigations into the Bidens or debunked conspiracies about 2016 U.S. election interference" that Trump asked Ukraine to conduct.
Yeah, I think at this point the minority party have nothing but empty threats, complaints and as usual whining because they don’t control the narrative anymore.

Biden did not have any "Top Secret" documents and didn't make any excuses and the moment he knew he handed them over. Very different than what Trump did including hiding many documents at his Mar-a-Lago club.

Biden will not be charged and probably Trump will. The VP can have access to documents if given by the president. The VP can declassify documents.
A vice president’s authority to declassify information stems from Executive Order 13526, which former President Barack Obama issued in 2009 when Biden was vice president. That order specifies who is allowed to classify and declassify information.
So what about the "Top Secret" documents Trump had? Anyone could have gotten into his club.

Probably not, meaning Garland won’t indict, if he does that’s a door he doesn’t want to walk through to charge a former president that had every constitutional right to hold these documents.
Not entirely true and definitely not keep them in his home.
Either way, Trump doesn’t have anything to fear at this point.
