I guess we'll just have to continue washing our hands and sneezing in our sleeves. The pigs aren't any sicker are they? < :-)

Yes they are, much so. One thing this pandemic is teaching us is that vegetarianism is the way to go. Pork kills - it's called Pig AIDS for a reason.

yes, they are. Pork is absolutely not safe to eat, because it is loaded with swine flu. You need to avoid eating any pork if you care about your family's well being. The flu is in is the swine and does not die when cooked unless you cook it above 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Way to spread nonesense. Be vegetarian if you like, but don't go around spreading lies to enforce your beliefs. Thats green tactics. Lying about reality in order to scare people into submitting to unreasonable demands.
The reality is, you are completely able to eat pork without any fear of getting sick. Just cook it like you normally would, and you won't have any problems. Nor is there any threat from handling uncooked pork. Just don't eat it unless its cooked. You can pick up some nasty parasites that way.

Heat only disables the phospholipid membrane of certain viruses --> this virus does utilize a phospolipid membrane.
Virus=heat doesn't matter since it is already dead material Phospholipids= melt with heat
