" Will they finally introduce the "spit on the Koran" or "draw a Mohammed cartoon" measures before boarding a plane? Do you plan something different? "

That would be crude, and I would not approve of it, but at least it would mean that they address the issue. But of course they will never do this. Instead, they will continue with ever more harrassment of the general population.

Jihadists, haters of non Muslims, can be anywhere, this guy must have really stood out up in Oregon, then trying to go up to Alaska? Smart! 9/11 is just one case of these guys hell bent on becoming martyrs at all costs, Madrid, London, Bali etc..will not be the last, so I am very proud of the FBI doing their work and catching this Somali up in Oregon.

The Feds found a nut-case and exploited the disturbed teen to set up a false-flag event

Oh how random this disturbed teen is. No relation that he just happens to be of a certain faith and wanted to participate in a "global __" Oh what's that word? "Jihad"? No that's not it. Maybe "picnic".

Oh, what the CIA tries to make us pot heads believe!! What do they think we are, PARANOID?

SimonFox: False-flag. Case closed. Try another lie, American Government. I'm ready for it.

I have to admit that it is stunning what people can piece together with a computer from their parents' basement. Stories that the worldwide media just can't seem to uncover get easily exposed by a few keystroke by those who are obviously put on this earth because they are truly special people. I applaud you. Without out people like you the world would be blind. You are indeed a very special person.

The affidavit filed to obtain the arrest warrant makes clear that this guy was intent on carnage. The charge that this was somehow trumped up or a case of entrapment is unfounded.

Tumbledry:

" Will they finally introduce the "spit on the Koran" or "draw a Mohammed cartoon" measures before boarding a plane? Do you plan something different? "

That would be crude, but it would at least, finally, address the issue. Nonwithstanding the screams of CAIR and the liberal elite.

Meanwhile, a good first step would simply be to acknowledge that we are looking for young, muslim males on their way to paradise. And not at completely random sample of the population. Is that rocket science? Less crude steps than what you mentioned could then be discussed.

Blow up a Christmas tree?

Does he not know it's pagan, and not even really Christian?

Now what does the TSA conclude from that? Yes, you guessed it: Religion has nothing to do with it! Profiling is wrong! Everybody needs to be groped!

The Feds found a nut-case and exploited the disturbed teen to set up a false-flag event to further the stripping of American's rights and freedoms. Plain and simple. Al-CIAda

Spot on!

Very self-centered.

" “To my parents who held me back from Jihad in the cause of Allah. I say to them ... if you — if you make allies with the enemy, then Allah’s power ... will ask you about that on the day of judgment, and nothing that you do can hold me back ...” "

No surprise here. That matches the typical jihadist bomber. Now what does the TSA conclude from that? Yes, you guessed it: Religion has nothing to do with it! Profiling is wrong! Everybody needs to be groped!

I didn't hear the usual "where are the moderate?". Could anyone explain that to me?

Good job on a successful operation.

The degree to which this success story is being loudly trumpeted to the media by law enforcement agencies suggests that they are soliciting a larger budget from the next session of the US Congress.

The Feds found a nut-case and exploited the disturbed teen to set up a false-flag event to further the stripping of American's rights and freedoms.

At the end of the day it was his decision to blow up the van and he dialed the number. If the FBI can find a nutcase than so can a well funded terrorist cell. The fact they haven't, or at the very least that the one's they have found all failed, is a combination of luck and foresight by the post 9/11 intelligence community.

"...Mohamud had been in regular e-mail contact with an “unindicted associate” in Pakistan’s northwest, a frontier region where al-Qaida and Afghanistan’s Taliban insurgents are strong."

Pakistan’s intelligence service, the ISI, is notorious for creating and running jihad terrorists groups under the supervision of the CIA. In late 2009, General Ahmad Shuja Pasha, the general director of the ISI, presented CIA boss Leon E. Panetta with “some highly classified and irrefutable evidence” that the mega-snoop agency is involved in creating and running supposed terror groups in Pakistan.

False-flag. Case closed. Try another lie, American Government. I'm ready for it.

Oh another random act by someone who just happens to be muslim. Of course his religion has nothing to do with it. He could have just as easily been a Christian nut job.
