Russia has been on Ukrainian land since 2014, and has coveted it before then.

I don't have any control over how a reporter asks a loaded question.

You told me the other day, you don't want Russia to win, but when you carry on like this, it starts to raise suspicion in me.

peace in our time*

Blacklabel - Putin can send peace proposals to Zelenskyy any time he wants, but if they involve land for peace in our team, well, that's not going to happen, though you really seem to want it to.

If you can’t give the Ukrainians planes, give their ordinary soldier the most lethal and easy to use weaponry possible.

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

Putin could have, and probably did, bring those 'peace proposals' to Zelenskyy as well, and he would have also rightly rejected them. Ukraine is not interested in giving up Ukrainian land to Russia, so here we are.

Put "Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine" into your Googler box and you can see why 'peace proposals' might have been dismissed out of hand.

@fallaffel

I really hope you are not so naive as to believe that tanks and bombs are free?

Still, to give you an example of ‘war debt’

It wasn’t until 2006 that England finished paying the US back for loans made in 1950.

Ukraine is amassing massive debt!

So Zelensky decided not to surrender to Russia. What exactly are you angry about?

-1 ( +8 / -9 )

What is your source for this... a hunch?

The strategy for donating (sic) arms is to raise debts on Ukraine by selling weapons or by currying political favor with the Ukrainian government.

The Russians themselves are reporting more Russian deaths than that. About 14,000

Maybe not clear but I am referring to the Russians reporting more Russian deaths than the 480.

They are claiming 14,000 including Wagner and the Chechens.

Beginning of the end. More stuff won't save the poor Ukrainians. They need more people. And they are running out of those unless NATO directly intervenes.

-2 ( +7 / -9 )

Even if Bakhmut will be occupied by those RuSSian marauders, so what.

It will be a strategical move by Ukraine's forces, not wasting precious lives.

Contrary what RuSSia has been and still is doing: send them wave after wave, one on top of the other.

The old WWII strategy - it won't work for PUTAin and associates.

Ukrainians are fighting for their country, for their freedom, for their independence - this is why .....

Ukraine prevails!

NATO better get off their A$es and start giving the Ukrainians serious weapons ASAP,

What serious weapons are you speaking of? NATO's latest aircraft? Takes well over a year of training and they are no match for S-300s, 400s and 500s regardless.

Or do you mean nukes?

2 ( +8 / -6 )

NATO better get off their A$$es and start giving the Ukrainians serious weapons ASAP, actually it is already too late. Military analysts are already talking about the withdrawal from Bakhmut.

If, IF Bakhmut is taken by the drunken rabble that is the red "army", the UA will withdraw to the western heights overlooking the suicide bowl the Russians have just " won" supply and communication lines in tact and strategically unaffected.

And it will only have cost Mother Putin 30k dead Russians (like he cares) along with many MANY irreplaceable vehicles, munitions, etc.

And Western resolve to ensure a decisive defeat in Ukraine has been redoubled.

So I guess for Mini-me this counts as a win?

No fighter jets for Ukraine unless those countries supplying those weapons want retaliation from Russia;so the war goes on until Ukraine capitulates-that is the end game…

Bakhmut will fall very soon, another step that brings the red army closer to kyiv..

What is this 'red army' you speak of?

And the 30k Russian dead? That's in the last 2 months alone.

-2 ( +11 / -13 )

And the Russians are lying. Its more lime 30k dead.

AND....

They STILL haven't taken control of a strategically unimportant salt mine.

They can't desalinate a mine. The De-Satanization, would seem an even more daunting task for this band of drunken criminal horde of soon to be corpses.

According to Mossad, it's more than 14 000. Or was as of last week. 18 480 to be precise.
