Nice chance to remind everything that prior to the NATO bombing of Libya, it has the highest ranking on the UN's Human Development Index in Africa.

The country's hospitals, schools and infrastructure were near first world standards.

But NATO turned them into dust and now we have perpetual dysfunction.

But at least French (NATO member) oil companies have secured the oil fields.

Fighting rages near Libya's capital amid push by rebel army

Another ugly consequence of, as Rep. Tulsi Gabbard says, the continuation of the Bush-Obama-Trump wars for oil.

And today many of the globe's oil giants from Italy, France, the US, the UK, the Netherlands, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and elsewhere are active in Libya trying to further exploit the situation. Funded, of course, by the globe's bankers and financiers. And their proxy armies using weapons sold by the globe's big defense industries.

Until alternatives to burning so much oil and gas are found, expect wars for oil to continue.

And climate change related problems to get worse.

*Funded, of course, by the globe's bankers and financiers.*

PT who are these "global bankers" and "financiers" you keep referring to in your conspiracy theories?

It would be nice if you elaborated in more detail instead of vague references to "global bankers."

Start with Wall Street. And pro-Russia rightists should be well aware of Morgan-Stanley, which helped the current Russian leader set up Rosneft. For his and his fellow oligarchs benefit. I do NOT use the term 'global bankers' the same way the alt right does, the same way the Nazis did in the 1930s. I'm anti-fascist, hence my posts critical of race/ethnicity based nationalism and authoritarianism. However, I do recognize throughout the globe leaders like Trump and Putin rely on financial institutions to further their power quests. Reality: the global elite establishment use financial services.

In the chaos that followed Gadhafi's death

So this is all the AP can say without bringing on the wrath of the “global bankers”. Round here we just say globalists which includes Sarkozy/France, oil control, the petrodollar, to name a few, all because Gaddafi wanted to price his oil in a new gold backed African currency which would have destabilized France the most.

Oh! And of course the.....wait for it......Russians.. Bhwa! Ha ha ha ha

So NATO bombs Libya, and the country turns into a MadMax zone (like every other country the West bombs) and in some twisted reality, it all boils down to somehow being Russia's fault. Man, you guys need a hobby or something.

Reality: Russia was going to veto the Libya bombing and they should have because this mess could have been averted, but Obama promised that they didn't wouldn't go too far, so Russia didn't veto.

Obama lied, they obliterated all the infrastructure in the country. The first thing that NATO destroyed was prisons and police stations. They called them "elements of Qaddafi's oppression". Now all the criminals are still on the loose and the local cops are mostly wiped out. Very difficult time to an honest Libyan family with kids these days thanks to NATO.

Sure. It makes sense if you’re a conspiracy theorist.

it all boils down to somehow being Russia's fault.

Where in this thread was that said, even implied? Or is this an attempt to portray Russia as victim.

Tatneft, Rosneft, Lukoil, Gazprom are operating in Libya, in addition to oil corporations from the countries I've listed above.

And add Japan: Nippon Oil, Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan Petroleum Exploration, Teikoku Oil and Inpex Oil.

The 'global' oil powers are exploiting Libya. As a result of NATO's attacks and the continuation of the Bush-Obama-TRUMP wars for oil.

Heh, it seems someone has a sore spot that the world has pointed out that Russia is full of cheats and liars.

Sucks lying in the bed Putin made, don't it.

Libya was the the wealthiest and most stable country in the region and had given up on both its sponsorship of terrorism and its nuclear program... before Cinton and Obama destroyed it. Now look a this mess and admire their handiwork.

Burning Bush

Nice chance to remind everything that prior to the NATO bombing of Libya, it has the highest ranking on the UN's Human Development Index in Africa.

... and we should also not forget that the driving force behind NATO's idiotic and illegal destruction of the Gaddafi government in Libya was Hillary Clinton, the annointed one who our friends wanted to be president.

"We came, we saw he died, cackle, cackle, cakle" (Hillary Clintons comment when watching the anal bayonet rape and murder of Gaddafi)
