The filibuster isn't going anywhere. I'd rather see it reduced to something smaller, like a 55-vote threshold, rather than 60, but I'm still, at this point in time, against eliminating it entirely.

Follow the rules. Elections have repercussions. If the daily problems become so great, then the VP needs to show up ad break the tie.

If the dems do well, the next election will see the senate get more dems. Problem solved. If they overstep, the will lose seats and the senate majority.

Schumer is resisting McConnell's demand for a promise to protect the long-standing Senate rule requiring a supermajority of 60 votes to advance most legislation, known as the legislative filibuster.

Give him his promise Chuck....then complete deny and reverse it just like Mitch did when he said "no Supreme Court nominations within one year of an election"...
