Rolling blackouts are only part of Cuba's worries.

Cuba imports all its fuel and roughly 95% of it's electricity is oil produced by dozens of severely outdated electric plants. Cuba is broke and the communist country cannot purchase oil or rebuild its electric grid.

Much like Sri Lanka that went bankrupt a few weeks ago and overthrew it's corrupt government, the Cuban economy is on the verge of total collapse. The small protests in the last few months will only get larger.

Sadly, the average Cubans will feel the most from this disaster. Times like this is when having international friends, nearby, is helpful.

Hopefully, nobody else is harmed.
