El, do you jump at your own shadow? One incident doesn't make a country unsafe.

REST IN PEACE TIMES ARE HARD!!! I KNOW MAN! rest in peace

Germany! They like Japan are very safe at a first glance, but have hideously bizarre murders, and such.

The owner of the flat and a potential future tenant were also included in the bloodbath?

WTF?

Since when do landlords take people on a visit during an eviction? That must be some tough ass area if Germany.

It would be nice to know just how behind he was in rent. He certainly did not have sufficient cause to kill any of these people, but he may have had good cause to be mad as hell.

And locksmiths should just say no to evictions work. Let the police break a window, and make sure the place is secure.

The jury's out on the bailiff....

RIP to the victims of this guy. It's sad that he felt the need to take others out along with himself, but this is a very isolated incident.

That place was quite a normal area. The guy seems to have been a nutcase all the time. It was a strange entanglement of relationship with the former landlord. I've never, ever heard any similar story from Karlsruhe before (and I'm living more or less in the same area). Black swan, if you ask me...

I'm going to say the odds are that you are wrong. Remember when you claimed Canada was going the way of the US when it comes to gun violence and that it was starting to spiral out of control due to the recent shootings in Canada even though Canada's violent crime has been dropping for the past 20 years just like the US.

El, do you jump at your own shadow? One incident doesn't make a country unsafe.

El I think you need to respond to that question. You seem to jump at every little thing and take that as a sign that it is a trend.

"I thought . . . ! Am I wrong??"

Odds are pretty high.
