Gerrymander-ed Florida. Another example of Republicans looking out for their own first, ignoring the 'others'.
All the governor has to do is get far right media to publish some headlines (because the far right rarely read what's written below them) saying 'fake news'/'cancel culture'/'hoax'/'rigged'/'Obama'/'AOC' and his fellow Florida-males and Florida-women will believe him.
bass4funk
Both parties do this.
But CNN, the NYT and the other far left Conservative hating media machines are in the right on this issue? Come on now. Leave the partisan politics aside. Liberals and Dems are upset because people can’t move to Florida fast enough, they’re allowed to work, they’re allowed to leave the mask at home, they’re allowed to live their life without all the government big brother over your back intrusion and the good part in all of this, they can’t stop him, no wonder DeSantis is becoming a rock star in the GOP. Trump’s protégé did well.

Stop assuming. You don’t know what an entire class of humans is upset for.
The article is about favoring wealthy people for early vaccination. Are you in favor of that? Can you engage with that issue without resorting to “whataboutisms”, straw men, or irrelevant topics?
Peter Neil
DeSantis is a Trump Lite swamp rat.
Toasted Heretic
I thought you were solidly against wealthy rock stars and hypocrites?
Are you in favour of the elite being first in line or are you against it?
bass4funk
I don’t assume anything, numbers don’t lie.
That myth again?
DeSantis is in a band?
I’m in favor of everyone getting the vaccine if they need or want it regardless of race, class or status.
Toasted Heretic
Except when they don't support your theories and political beliefs.
According to your post, he's becoming a rock star. Are you a bit confused this morning?
So, if the rich want it first, you're in favour of preferential treatment.
bass4funk
That goes both ways.
No, he is in his State, but on the GOP national stage, he is becoming a star, just not a rock star.
You need to calm down, that is not what I said.
According to and reported by.....
CaptDingleheimer
He must be a Republican.
All the Democrat governors are doing it too, but they get a pass; after all, they're Democrats.
bass4funk
I already answered, but for the record: I’m in favor of everyone getting the vaccine if they need or want it regardless of race, class or status.
There you go.
For the left, I guess so.
bass4funk
The thing is, the left is trying now to gun for DeSantis, good luck on that one and they’re not going to be successful in trying to topple a guy who is one of the most popular governors in the state of Florida.
Lazarus Knows
Are you under the impression that Florida has more than one governor?
bass4funk
Not as popular as this one, especially with the GOP.
Lazarus Knows
Jeb Bush had better approval ratings.
GOP voters are less than half of the US. As the recent election proved.
bass4funk
Not at all when it came to school choice and also Jeb didn’t have to deal with COVID, the country We’re still relatively normal and people were still happy in the blue states in moving to Florida or Texas or Tennessee as they are doing now in massive numbers, we live in different times....
Uh-huh, lol.
Lazarus Knows
None of this is relevant. Jeb Bush had higher approval ratings than DeSantis.
Yes. The GOP are the minority in the US.
bass4funk
No, I was very clear on that.
Not if, I did, that was not the original source, the Herald got the information later
again, Jeb did not have to deal with a pandemic and by the way, give DeSantis one or two more terms and then he’ll probably surpass Jeb.
You can believe that, I’m not buying that crap for a second.
Lazarus Knows
Again, none of this is relevant.
All you need to do is look at the numbers. there are more registered Democratic members than registered Republicans, and the GOP lost the Presidential election by 8 million votes. Eight million. That's no suprise, though. Even you said Trump was creepy, repugnant, pathetic and bad.
