Absolutely disgusting how MAGAs don't care about national security. Will be back under Trump's successor just to spite him I hope.

“CLOSE IT DOWN,” Trump said Friday on social media of USAID.

Not you choice Trump.

The fact is that this agency is how the US projects "soft power" in the world. Unfortunately Trump doesn't understand foreign policy.

It's also costing ~50,000 US private sector jobs.

It's affecting farmers who sell their crops to USAID.

Finally a leader actually leads and dismantles this useless organization that promoted wasteful spending of US taxpayer's dollars for years.

Trump has every right, and he is right, to close down USAID and bring the money back home.

It's 0.6% of the US budget. You will save nothing and cost the US everything.

The purpose of this is not to save money. The purpose is to symbolically stick it to “the left”. Being cruel is considered a big win. Turns the MAGA people on bigly.

BS

Vance wouldn’t do that.

No, it’s just Dems have to take it, nothing more, quite simple

Win win

Yesterday Trump was leading a prayer breakfast and howling about bringing God back into the classroom, and today Trump is destroying a program which feeds tens if not hundreds of thousands of hungry children. It seems very un-Christian, doesn't it?

USAID was funding the left?

Federal judge overruled Trump, stopped the shutter of USAIDS

The USAID buildings signs have been ripped down.

MAGAs still don't understand that our oceans will not protect us from our economic enemies.

Like it or not, it's Trump's choice.

He knocked Biden out of the election and crushed Kamala. So, it's the Trump Tornado.

The fact is that this agency is how the US projects "soft power" in the world.

The fact is, promoting lesbian dance theory in Nigeria is actually projecting weakness.

Unfortunately Trump doesn't understand foreign policy.

Trump understands foreign policy well, which is why he is ending Democrat-induced wasteful spending.

The only question is how big was the payoff from Xi so China and the CCP could take over aid and influence to all these countries...

Finally a conspiracy the Democrats can screech about for a few days!

Nothing says "my country is rapidly going down the toilet" than a government pursuing grievance-based policies founded on the sole principle of sticking it to the other guys. And their rabid fans are cheering them on while their lives gets progressively worse.

zero. China can have “these countries”.

The US gave the greatest aid, $60 billion but the UK gives more per capita, $20 billion.

zero.

Who says?

China can have “these countries”.

Well at least that's consistent for a guy that says "Russia can have Ukraine"...

Russia, China, and MAGA - the new Axis of Evil?

China can have “these countries”.

What a cynical, nihilistic, misanthropic view.

We will be ok.

how so?

I feel we shouldn’t be giving international aid to impoverished or war torn sovereign countries in an attempt to take advantage of their desperate situation.

you all for that?

Interesting, what Trump is doing.

Keeping his campaign promises!

And all the power to Trump.

Americans should be mortified and outraged that their taxpayer money was paying a concrete company in Gaza - -owned by Hamas, that was building tunnels that were used to keep hostages, including Americans.

It's disgusting that the Democrats support that type of foreign "aid".
