if you give too much freedom to the maid, there is room for them to run away.

Slavery in this day and age? Malasians should stop being lazy and do away with the sytem. Indonesians get smart and stop being maids for goodness sake.

maids are work 24/7 as i guess.employer must give a day off atleast once a week...in some cases maid/helper run away due to maltreatment of employer or members of family which she work for.i wish that this law could implement in malaysia, not only in malysia but in all nation, foreign maid or local give respect

THE FACT IS THIS ONE..SOME PPL THEY TREAT THERE HELPER AS SLAVE..

Indonesians must stop maid worker export business. All nations must stop this export of maid workers to other nations.

But this will not happen. There is maids leaving to work in other nations, because of poverty and richness other nations in comparison to their own.

This problems will end,if indonesians get rich enough, and not to export maids. It may happen in future as they get richer, with money coming in from their foreign maids worldwide.

Indonesia,Philipines,Bangladesh and many other nations, they do not have enough paying jobs for their people. Only when poor nations do more to compete with 20 percent of world richer nations, that this problem will be solved.

Resources are more in 20 percent of world nations because of better governance and other things.

Only when the 80 percent of world nations which are poor, improve their governance and their resources to get rich in resources, that this problem can be solved.

The problems will be solved when the poor nations get rich, then they do not need to send workers/maids abroad.
