Probably a gesture but at least a good one, along with the release of the three American hostages.

Headline is wrong ....  Should read nuclear site "closing"

All this reminds me of the great scene in Team America when Hans Blix arrives to "inspect" NK's nuclear disarmament programme......

I write to DPRK leaders often - the moment they completely disarm their lives will be over.

Never forget or forgive what the USA and Japan did to you. It is unforgivable.

The SK journalists can read about the NK nuke facility closing here at this site and report on what they read. Problem solved.

For a few generations, certainly. It's easy when it hasn't happened to oneself or one's country or families, of course, to say such a thing. But if people can forgive, there is a way forward for peace. That's not to say one should forget.

Never ever forget. There's plenty of hope and goodwill, out there.

We should pay less attention to the hawks and armchair generals who would set us back decades and look to a brighter future.

"the moment they completely disarm their lives will be over."

Does anyone expect North Korea to completely disarm? It's all about nukes.

"Never forget or forgive what the USA and Japan did to you. It is unforgivable."

.... but families of Japanese abductees, families of victims of North Korean atrocities, and survivors of North Korea's invasion of South Korea should all forgive and forget? North Korea's hands are just as dirty as those of other countries.

While this site is going you can be sure they have another site...NK simply cant be trusted at all..

Selected and vetted group of journalist who are qualified to say what they will be viewing turning it into a NK PR exercise with no South Korean journalists who seem to have upset the north.

SK seems happy, they have a giant behemoth and flourishing economy and what about the kidnapped Japanese? Any word?

If that’s true NK can unconditionally give up its nuclear program, then we will really witness goodwill on the NK part.

We should pay less attention to the hawks and armchair generals who would set us back decades and look to a brighter future.

No, we need to keep the hawks hoovering and monitoring to make sure that this little guy keeps his word and disarms, anything less would be unacceptable.

“We should pay less attention to the hawks and armchair generals who would set us back decades and look to a brighter future”

Sounds like more “strategic patience.” And the decades after decades of kicking the can down the road. Agree with bass. Gotta keep them (NK) on thin ice.

Pyongyang knows they can’t outsmart / outmuscle Trump Administration. Period.

At this moment Present Trump and President Moon are meeting at the White House with Trump claiming the meeting with Kim will still go head,

The test site was already damaged and useless. Kim Jong-un can't be trusted. He killed his half brother with nerve agent. His uncle and anyone whom he thinks oppose him were slaughtered by machine gun and feeding alive to dogs.

How can you trust people like Kim Jong-un?

Kim Jong-un was mentally sick like his father and grandfather. They kidnapped other countries' citizens.

The President Trump shouldn't meet with murderer Kim Jong-un.
