credibility deficit in U.S. politics,

Trump's the most dishonest politician in modern US history. He, his Republican enablers and keyboard warriors (US and 'foreign') have reduced US 'credibility', never very high, to its lowest point ever.

Each day Trump's in office the US sinks even farther down domestically and internationally.

"Chaos" appears to be the word most commonly used to describe events.

What really confuses people around the world is that Trump is actually politically viable and well-supported by so many when he is such a cringing embarrassment and so clearly unsuited to his office.

November can't come soon enough, but I fear the period up until January where the wounded animal will no doubt abuse his office as spitefully as possible before he is dragged screaming from the White House.

I can't stand this nonsense.

Biden's refusal to condemn Antifa was the low point of the entire clown show.

But he did. You just have to read the transcript, read the book!

I’ve watched snippets, but not all of the debate. Like most others I found it unwatchable... what a disaster. To me, if Trump was able to calm down and let Biden speak, it might have shown what Trump supporters claim about Biden being incapable as a president... but Trump won’t let anyone he disagrees with speak. That goes against him here. I almost hope the format stays the same because Biden can’t lose the debates like that.

The only foreign observer who enjoyed Trump's primate time performance was Putin watching TV while stroking his cat in the Kremlin. We can all easily imagine Putin's face wearing a Cheshire Cat grin and hear his Russian-accented chuckling...xo-xo-xo.

When Trump find himself in a hole, he should stop digging, unless he trying to tunnel to Russia, from the Whitehouse

If the debate did one good thing, it was to convince the limited pool of undecided voters Trump needs to make up his sizable deficit that he is a rat, a narcissist, and an u.n.-hinged lunatic.

I watched it last night. A complete circus. Trump was the worst offender with his petulant and childish interruptions.

Get them on Zoom. Use the mute function.

As a foreign observer, I was embarrassed by the whole thing. But more embarrassed by one candidate, the one who called the other a liar, who said "shut up, man", the one who called the other a clown.... imagine the outrage if the OTHER candidate did any of these things.

If you get down to the substance, it was no contest. Biden had no ideas. He was afraid to make any statements that could cost him support from the far reaches of his party. In one answer, he both praised the Green New Deal and then said that he was against it. He refused to state his position on packing the Supreme Court, he refused to use his self-procliamed position of "I AM the Democratic Party" to speak to anyone about the months of rioting and violence in American cities.

Trump is a bully, a boor, and a braggart. But at least he gets things done.

To be fair, Trump’s interruptions were just ridiculous. He would not shut up. Biden was nowhere near as bad on that count. I’d have lost my temper with this.

The moderator tried to get Trump to behave like an adult but failed.

Jimizo, i agree completely. It was frustrating to listen to for that very reason. Trump needs to get ahold of his ego and learn some manners. But that is no revelation. WYSIWYG

Interesting though, that only one side is calling for the next two debates to be cancelled. Wonder why that is? I have a sneaking suspicion that we saw Biden at his best yesterday. His handlers don't want to take the chance that he royally screws up in the next two sessions.

Benito Mussolini said 'The trains run on time'. He was the first fascist dictator. Read your history books.

Donald Trump is a fascist. As an American citizen who also defended this nation during the Cold War, a 'loser' and a 'sucker' to him - I am violently sick and tired of him and his constant immature lippy crap. He is narcisstic, haughty, revolting and unlikable to the max. NO MORE!

What they need are UN observers at the voting places.

Biden didn't win yesterday's debate. But Trump sure lost it, in addition to his mind.

I guess you missed the part where he said that violence was wrong. The low point was when the man-child couldn't bring himself to even distance himself from white supremacist groups. All I heard was stand back, stand by and crickets.

Biden was wrong to say, 'Shut up, man'. Plain wrong.

He should have said 'Shut up, child'.

Aside from playing a lot of golf I can't recall much of what he's got done. Can you? Anything specific with definite positive results?

I think the jury's out on whether much of that will do any good. The creation of Space Force, for instance.

Now, please do Joe Biden...

I would, if he'd been President for four years. Tell you what - I will get back to you in four years if Biden wins. And if I can be bothered. No one's paying me to write this stuff.

OK then Simon. How about anything Biden has done in his 47 years in Washington that would give you confidence in him? AFAIK he has never been a leader, never done anything else in his entire adult life other than be a politician. I can think of things he has done tragically wrong though- pro Iraq war, against killing Bin Laden, befriending vicious racists in the Senate, etc.

Dude, he's got a lot done, but you wouldn't know because the media in the US has nothing better to do then just go on a TDS jihad 24/7

Women’s unemployment recently at lowest rate in nearly 65 years.

Fantastic! Zucker should allow his pundits to report on the news from time to time.
