Great news, hopefully the opposition party will win the next election and we can all make a sigh of relief.

You can have all of the hope in a KMT victory you want, the Taiwanese people by wide margins don't want to be part of the CCP wonderland.

80% don't want to be called Chinese:

Your racism is noted, but I am allowed to have an interest in keeping the PRC out if that is what the people want.

You will be very welcome after arriving China, sir. China is your motherland and Mr. Ma you are born in Hong Kong, so are Chinese not Taiwanese!

Now it seems that China will not have to attack Taiwan because now China will form the next government in Taiwan.

Take note, Ukraine, this is how you deal with an overwhelming neighbor. You don't commit to one side and keep them guessing, then reaping benefits from both sides

If you honestly believe the PRC will form anything, I have a bridge to sell you.

There are two important differences between the situations, Taiwan does more business with China than Ukraine did with Russia but Taiwan was out from under the thumb of murderous thugs longer so they had more to sell. The other difference is Taiwan has a huge strait defending it and so doesn't have as high of likelyhood of fascists coming to rule over them. There is literally nothing Ukraine can learn from Taiwan other than that the future is bright if they can escape thuggery.

Hope Ma has a good trip. And he can stay there.
