4 more "oaf" keepers guilty of trying to overthrow the government after losing a free and fair election. Not protest. Not legal discourse. This was domestic terrorism and it took a jury of their peers a whopping 12 hours to recognize it as such.
That's 4 convicted this trial, 2 last trial, Three plead guilty to get a lighter sentence.
Looks like the Federal prison system is going to be the new "Oaf Keeper" lol.
Strangerland
And yet, multiple posters on this very site still say that Trump won in 2020, and think that these guys (and Trump) were justified in trying to overthrow the government because they were unhappy with the way the people voted.
ClippetyClop
Should have taken an oath not to be gullible, violent numpties.
Strangerland
That's what the English thought too at one time...
Nemo
So hilarious they are going to federal prison for the better part of 2 decades!
Ah_so
No wonder these neo-fascist groups were drawn to a wannabe authoritarian like Trump.
I can't think of anyone in particular, but there is quite a large group of far right posters on this site who will agree with anything Trump says.
theFu
So much for quick justice. These crimes happened over 2 yrs ago!
Justice delayed is justice denied.
TokyoLiving
Excellent !!, 4 less MAGA gang losers on the streets, go to jail !!!!...
Hard blow for MAGA fanatic losers, lol..
Superlib
More results from the indoctrinated right, who seem to think spending time denying AP Black History classes is more important than cleaning up their own houses.
There's a reason why the Feds said right wingers are the biggest threat to America today.
Nemo
TheFu,
I shared your sentiment, but its important to not that while the wheels of justice turn slowly at times, they do in fact turn.
Justice has found these goobers today. Likely to find some Proud Boys tomorrow (or in the very near future). Hopefully the insurrectionist in chief is not too far behind.
Superlib
Well the biggest takeaway is that now we know these groups exist and they are planning more violence as we speak. The Right really needs to expand its base from uneducated white males.
bass4funk
Hmmmm
We keep hearing this from the left.
2024 should change and reverse that for a lot of these people.
Silkanvil
People committed a crime, and they were convicted. That's American justice. Like the many violent protesters in BLM incidents and other far left looting, arson, robbery, and murder cases a few summer ago, lock them all up.
Bob Fosse
The jury were all members of ‘the left’?
Superlib
DeSantis or Biden won't be pardoning them.
Strangerland
Because more people love Trump than before Jan 6, right?
...right?
Blacklabel
Correct- per the latest polling.
he is beating DeSantis handily and Biden now in 2024 polling.
Thus Joe getting abandoned by his media these days.
Blacklabel
wasn’t Ray Epps Oathkeeper leadership? Such a serious disinterest in a rabid trump supporter, on video engaged in Jan 6th violence and also an oathkeeper. “The one that got away”.
just zero interest in this one guy who was right in the middle of everything, for unknown reasons.
bass4funk
Ahhhh, the sweet sound of crickets.
Nemo
Maybe because Ray testified under oath that he had nothing to do with it, he didn’t know anything about it, was being ruined by it?
Maybe because it’s a laughable fever dream of a cult made up of idiot rubes?
Maybe that’s why?
Blacklabel
I always considered “mockery” as being very loud actually if it were a sound. Lots of laughing and pointing.
shame is pretty silent to me.
there is no logical explanation for zero interest in only 1 Trump supporter, ex Oathkeeper who was present on Jan 5 and Jan 6.
People just standing outside watching have been arrested. But no- the one guy who texted his family that he “orchestrated” the whole thing and is in all the videos? had nothing to do with it because he said so!
Blacklabel
Cant wait for this one.
Tarrio is a known federal informant. how they will get the others while avoiding it getting out that Tarrio was on the government payroll should be interesting to see.
Bob Fosse
You should forward all your evidence to the proper authorities. I’m sure they’d be thrilled with your findings.
bass4funk
Nothing to say? Well, we knew that.
No, go ahead, the other real stories will push this aside as it’s already fading
Well, Epps should be at the very least in jail given what we have seen, heard and know.
Bob Fosse
Phone the FBI, maybe they overlooked something. You can help them out the pieces together.
Seriously, it must get tiring having to constantly make up conspiracies to explain why you are a victim and just can’t seem to catch a break.
u_s__reamer
The "low-life" hanging fruit was easy to pick and imprison, but the treasonous political cabal who plotted to overthrow the system and keep the Trump in power have all been "pardoned" or continue to thrive in their affluence and authority while Garland surreptitiously attempts to minimize the political fallout, like keeping coup-plotting Con(gress)men & women, the masters of dark money and all the usual suspects out of jail. Meanwhile, Trump carries on golfing and sowing mayhem.
Superlib
OK, then. Sounds like just another conspiracy theory to me but thanks for taking the time to explain this. I think InfoWars was giving material saying he was an FBI informant or something? I wasn't sure if you believed the "mastermind" conspiracy or the "informant" conspiracy or both, but sounds like you want this guy behind bars.
wallace
Guilty of sedition, not trespassing.
Trump abandoned them and threw them under the bus.
Superlib
The evolution of the right's January 6 message:
It was Antifa.
OK, it wasn't Antifa, but these people were just tourists doing nothing wrong.
OK, some did something wrong, but they'll just get a slap on the wrist.
OK, some might get more than a slap on the wrist, but they will sue the US government.
OK, some are getting 12+ month sentences, but you don't hear the word, "sedition."
OK, so the word "sedition" is used here, but people aren't that interested in this story anymore.
Ray Epps.
The end.
starpunk
Oaf Keepers are guilty of treason, terrorism and sedition. And so is their master messiah Trump. Of course, he threw them under the bus, like he threw his lunch that day in a juvenile hissy-fit. Notice how many bootlickers in his administration resigned soon afterward. Plotting a coup to overturn an election that you lost is never cool or kosher. It's UNAMERICAN. Then again, Trump is not an American, and these Oaf Keepers aren't either.
Jimizo
There’s no easier target for rip-off artists than rightwing conspiracy theorists.
Taking sweets from a baby.
Strangerland
I think the Republicans should get more extreme, and promise more pardons for these people who tried to overthrow the government. That will win GOP votes won't it?
bass4funk
So you're basically saying that when the left protest, burn down a police building and deface our national monuments, rob, loot and steal as well as destroy businesses in the name of march it's acceptable. but questioning your government over political elections is not?
Well, this is why a lot of people don't take the left seriously.
Not my master nor anyone else just like I would hope this President isn't either, they are men, humans, and imperfect.
How many jumped Harris's ship and Ron Klain just left I believe? Biden has been in politics for over 50 years, I think the guy can't say Jack when it comes to anything he's accusing Trump over, nothing.
No, Trump is as American as you or I, the difference is he just won't take a crap, and DeSantis is as well.
