Stating the obvious about FNC, really. How much longer will Donny's fanboys keep talking about Seth Rich?

9 ( +12 / -3 )

BS.

Fair and Balanced.

-29 ( +0 / -29 )

Burning Bush: you mean Fox News?

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Fox News is and has pretty clearly been 'entertainment' and an echo chamber for a certain demographic for quite some time..

15 ( +17 / -2 )

Fake lawsuit about fake fake news.

-25 ( +3 / -28 )

Wolfpack: come on now. Fox has been peddling fake news for years.

25 ( +28 / -3 )

Fox is a malignant cancer on this country.

And, NO, you don't get to pretend there's some magical separation between your "news" department and your "entertainment" department.

Propaganda, bottom to top, every damned day.

18 ( +23 / -5 )

Fox is a malignant cancer on this country.

I think the real cancer are the networks that peddle a one political point of view and because FNC gives that the liberal media goes berserk, this is what the 8th time we've been through this?

And, NO, you don't get to pretend there's some magical separation between your "news" department and your "entertainment" department.

I get my entertainment watching the heads on CNN explode or watching Joe and Mika ramble.

Propaganda, bottom to top, every damned day.

Yup!

-25 ( +5 / -30 )

And now we see the true MSM that the right has been going on about forever. Turns out it's their own team though that is doing exactly what they've been trying to accuse the rest of the media of doing.

Fox News - fairly unbalanced.

18 ( +21 / -3 )

Faux News. Full of sexual predators and Pravda-like propaganda.

No wonder Joffrey adores it.

16 ( +20 / -4 )

And now we see the true MSM that the right has been going on about forever. Turns out it's their own team though that is doing exactly what they've been trying to accuse the rest of the media of doing.

Yeah, another feeble attempt at trying to boost ratings and catch up to FNC. Keep trying, maybe one day the left might, just might get it.

Faux News. Full of sexual predators and Pravda-like propaganda.

Yeah, they all got kicked out. So when will msnbc kick out all the progressive agitators and hire real journalists?

The Cersi network

Fox news has no credibility to lose.

"Fox News hit with new charges to its credibility"

Who on earth still gives this channel any credence what so ever anyhow?

17 ( +21 / -4 )

A defamation lawsuit filed this week accuses the network of making up quotes and pushing a false story

Ha ha ha ha. Is this April 1st? Stopped reading right there. The MSM has no credibility, yes including FOX, after pushing so much war, disinformation, and basically, lying by not telling the truth about anything important for the average person. The MSM is a corporation, they are no longer in the journalism business.

Now they hey are just feeding on themselves like desperate vampires. The whole Russian meme is blowing up in their face and they are looking for the next excuse to keep the sheep.

-12 ( +8 / -20 )

"If I were to run, I'd run as a Republican. Thery're the dumbest group of voters in the country. They believe anything on Fox News. I could lie and they'd still eat it up. I bet my numbers would be terrific." (Donald Trump, People Magazine, 1998)

10 ( +16 / -6 )

Fox News is rightist tabloid trash for boneheads. Plenty of thigh, cleavage and sexually depraved geriatrics.

I just can't fathom why a man as educated and sophisticated as Trump is a fan.

12 ( +15 / -3 )

FizzBit: The MSM has no credibility

So, what sources do you read?

Bye.

11 ( +14 / -3 )

Fox News is rightist tabloid trash for boneheads. Plenty of thigh, cleavage and sexually depraved geriatrics.

Depraved geriatrics? Sounds like pretty much ever liberal echo chamber outlet over the past 50 years.

I just can't fathom why a man as educated and sophisticated as Trump is a fan.

Because they present both sides of political view points, something that you would never get from the other networks. When you have over a network like the FNC beating out the competition every single night for over 20 years, yes, in this business you will do whatever you can to catch up and both CNN and msnbc got a taste of that for a bit.

-16 ( +3 / -19 )

Great Super Lib, you question my opinion but have no problem with...

If I were to run, I'd run as a Republican. Thery're the dumbest group of voters in the country. They believe anything on Fox News. I could lie and they'd still eat it up.

this quote. Why don't you ask Stormcrow about his credibility? This meme seems to be going through the MSM right now. Friggen sheep.

-11 ( +5 / -16 )

Because they present both sides of political view points, something that you would never get from the other networks. When you have over a network like the FNC beating out the competition every single night for over 20 years, yes, in this business you will do whatever you can to catch up and both CNN and msnbc got a taste of that for a bit.

I think stormcrow's Trump quote sounds like a more plausible argument.

Depraved geriatrics? Sounds like pretty much ever liberal echo chamber outlet over the past 50 years.

I don't follow. Were many geriatrics fired from those outlets for sexual depravity? You did say pretty much every.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Because they present both sides of political view points

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The right trying to defend the MSM is funny.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

25 years ago, the ONLY conservative on TV was old Bob Novak the left would drag out of the basement that would spare on "Crossfire" with some liberal, that was it. There was nothing else out there for more than half of the country, Ne rebuke, nothing until Ailes tapped into the market that there was an underserved audience, like them or not, without them, we would just have to listen to liberal point of viewpoints forever and thank God, those days are behind us.

But I know, libs hate fairness or what THEY view as fair and legit. Yaaawn.

-15 ( +2 / -17 )

FizzBit: This meme seems to be going through the MSM right now. Friggen sheep.

Oh, I see. I just asked you what sources I should get my news from since you're always telling me that mine are bogus. But you've never answered. Seems almost cruel to keep me in the dark about the good news sources and forcing me to stay with the MSM while insulting me for staying with the MSM.

12 ( +14 / -2 )

@bass

You see Fox as a counterweight to the liberal networks. Fair enough.

Just don't try to sell the idea that Fox itself presents a balanced view. You won't and shouldn't be taken seriously if you do this. Defend it as part of the Punch and Judy show.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The right trying to defend the MSM is funny.

I agree, anyone trying to defend FOX news should be laughed at. Just the same, anyone following this "Russia this...Russia that" meme should be laughed at as well. Wolf Blitzer is an actor, not a journalist.

-16 ( +3 / -19 )

libs hate fairness or what THEY view as fair and legit. Yaaawn.

People who question lies and purely political propaganda are labelled as libs.

A portion of the U.S. has devolved into a third-world country and elected a dictator as president, with the help of Russians.

11 ( +13 / -2 )

I agree, anyone trying to defend FOX news should be laughed at

What sources deserve not to be laughed at? Give us a name and the reasons why.

11 ( +11 / -0 )

Seems almost cruel to keep me in the dark about the good news sources and forcing me to stay with the MSM while insulting me for staying with the MSM.

like you care. It's kind of insulting to ask for someone else's sources. If you REALLY cared, you would have found these sources yourself. I will not support intellectual laziness.

-16 ( +2 / -18 )

And by the way Superlib, you wrote "bye" so I took that as a break off of dialogue.

-14 ( +2 / -16 )

Well it does seem this guy bringing the lawsuit has some significant credibility issues himself with that interview he did for Fox.

The thing is, is anything Fox did here illegal? Until news agencies are clearly defined, you will see this over and over again in future. There is little doubt that Fox has ruined the credibility of all news networks permanently and clear regulation I think is required to make networks criminally liable for blatant fake news

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Just don't try to sell the idea that Fox itself presents a balanced view.

That's why they say, "we report, you decide" seems fair to me.

You won't and shouldn't be taken seriously if you do this. Defend it as part of the Punch and Judy show.

I don't take the left serious at all, and in the words of Danny Elfman "why should I care?"

People who question lies and purely political propaganda are labelled as libs.

No, not if they are legitimate, but everyone with a functioning cerebral cortex knows this is a witch hunt pure and simple, no one on this site can tell me if Mueller came back and announced there is absolutely nothing on Trump, no collusion, a clear bill of health, the left and Dems would never say "good enough" or "well, I'm convincedit's over, let's give Trump a fair shot."

No way, never in a million years, the left would continue its political jihad against his president no matter what, so please spare me, we want to know the truth. No you guys want the truth in the hopes it can take him down and if it doesn't, find something else, but don't hide behind this ruse that the reason for this is to seek out the truth, that's just ridiculous.

A portion of the U.S. has devolved into a third-world country and elected a dictator as president, with the help of Russians.

California is one of the most impoverished States in the Union, they overwhelmingly elected a dictator 8 years ago, so no big difference, this one has more backbone though.

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

Not to be taken seriously

No one takes the left seriously and you know it's really bad when Rosie O'Donnell threatens to leave the Democratic Party which has become satiric joke.

-14 ( +2 / -16 )

That's why they say, "we report, you decide" seems fair to me.

Sounds like Ripley's Believe it or Not. In respect of Fox, NOT.

They don't report, they talk about the latest conspiracy to advance an agenda.

everyone with a functioning cerebral cortex knows this is a witch hunt pure and simple,

So, now anyone who wants to see questions around collusion answered doesn't have a brain, or at least the thinking part of a brain?

There are serious questions raised by the actions of Trump himself beginning with him publicly asking Russia to produce Clinton's emails. There has only been more questions raised as time goes by. I never trusted Trump. He lies as easily as most people walk. Collusion seems right up his alley and should be investigated.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

California is one of the most impoverished States in the Union, they overwhelmingly elected a dictator 8 years ago, so no big difference, this one has more backbone though.

No, they did not. You obviously don't remember your own definition of what a dictator is. In a post on February 7 this year, you said, "When you see the camps, the ovens and patches on people's sleeve, then you can call him a dictator."

Care to elaborate on why you continue to use this term when describing Trump's predecessor despite it not fitting the very definition of what you posted before?

9 ( +11 / -2 )

this one has more backbone though.

He has the backbone of a bully.

If he had a real backbone, he wouldn't need to lie on a regular basis.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Sounds like Ripley's Believe it or Not. In respect of Fox, NOT.

Thats your choice and your opinion.

They don't report, they talk about the latest conspiracy to advance an agenda.

And the left do it as well, but with far less finesse.

So, now anyone who wants to see questions around collusion answered doesn't have a brain, or at least the thinking part of a brain?

Pretty much. If there was something, we would have known it by now, these people want Trump soooo badly, they would turn over every stone and dig up any grave if they have to they would do it in a heartbeat.

There are serious questions raised by the actions of Trump himself beginning with him publicly asking Russia to produce Clinton's emails. There has only been more questions raised as time goes by. I never trusted Trump.

And no one really trusted Hillary, not even her own people. Hiding a server at a restaurant? Good lord.....

He lies as easily as most people walk. Collusion seems right up his alley and should be investigated.

Keep digging, them shovels be starting to wear down.

No, they did not. You obviously don't remember your own definition of what a dictator is.

I do and he's gone now. I'm soooo relieved!

In a post on February 7 this year, you said, "When you see the camps, the ovens and patches on people's sleeve, then you can call him a dictator."

I never said, I'm always right and people do change. I think towards the end, he opened my eyes as to who he really is.

-16 ( +1 / -17 )

FOX is not news, nor has it EVER had ANY credibility. People are only just starting to realize the level of depravity FOX has sunk to.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

Better yet, maybe it's time to end your hypocrisy on this and stop using the term until you understand what it means.

Ok, silly me, I guess I did finally come to the realization that he ran the WH like a dictator.

My bad. But we are past that now, a sigh of relief.

-13 ( +0 / -13 )

A defamation lawsuit filed this week accuses the network of making up quotes and pushing a false story that benefits President Donald Trump, even inviting the chief executive into the editorial process.

In essence, Fox is accused of creating fake news to debunk a story Trump has complained is fake news.

"The charge is a very serious one, if substantiated,"

If substantiated? Someone just filed a defamation lawsuit and Democrats begin acting as if the lawsuit has been settled. I guess it doesn't matter if the charge is true or not. At least to some people.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

Ok, silly me, I guess I did finally come to the realization that he ran the WH like a dictator.

Ok, now you are just being stubborn about this and refuse to admit that you have not only been wrong but also hypocritical. I guess that since Fox news repeated it enough, it became so deeply etched into your mind that no amount of logic or reason will dislodge it.

If you want to convince us that you are truly relieved that "we are in the past," then you will simply move on and refrain from making comments like this in order to deflect from the actual topic of the article. Fox has. Now it is your turn.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

FOX is not news, nor has it EVER had ANY credibility.

Then it would have been off the air and not the empire it grew to be.

People are only just starting to realize the level of depravity FOX has sunk to.

Not really, the problem wasn't FNC, but how it was run by Ailes, so that era is over with.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

I guess it doesn't matter if the charge is true or not. At least to some people.

Same can be said of the people who claim that something is a "witch hunt," "nothing burger," or "groundless" before investigations have run their course or the courts have reached a verdict.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Then it would have been off the air and not the empire it grew to be.

No, they're literally not news. Hannity, for example, says he is not a news program.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Same can be said of the people who claim that something is a "witch hunt," "nothing burger," or "groundless" before investigations have run their course or the courts have reached a verdict.

True, but if there were something anything close, we would have known about it, that's why Mueller had to hire his democratic voter posse bunch to dig and dig and find whatever they can on this president and if that means to go as far back as the early 80's you know, if you don't kid yourself what this really is. A laughable witch hunt.

No, they're literally not news. Hannity, for example, says he is not a news program.

Hannity is right, he gets paid to opine, that's his job, the same goes for Rachel Maddow and Anderson Cooper, these are NOT news pundits, that's not their job to pontificate. So it's perfectly legal, legit and within their contracts. That's what they're there for. Earlier the news reporters before the prime time slots just talk about hard news or unless, they are contracted to do both, so it depends on what their positions are.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

True, but if there were something anything close, we would have known about it, . . .

We've been down this road many times before. No, we would not have known anything yet since the investigation is still ongoing. We won't know anything for sure until it is concluded and it's findings become public. Therefore, trying to discredit something based on information which has not been made public but is still part of the investigation is simply coming to a premature judgment without waiting for all of the facts to come to light.

A laughable witch hunt.

Trump and many of the people who are being investigated by Mueller certainly don't think so since they've lawyered up quite nicely. However, we are getting off the topic here, aren't we?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I really don't know, but I'm curious how it feels to be a dog on the MSM leash. Do you really believe the whole story about the "Russia" hacking? When evrthing points to a leak? Did you not understand that Victoria Nuland, handing out cookies, was instrumental in the Ukriane coup, way way before the Crimean people decided, by a vote, to leave the Ukraine? That's the whole point behind the sanctions right. So, basically, global dictatorship is the new thang with lefties? Good luck!

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

I'm curious how it feels to be a dog on the MSM leash.

Like an ex-Fox reporter who was told by Fox management to go with the narrative that news reporters claiming Gore won Florida prematurely caused Bush voters in West Florida to not vote, which caused Bush to lose Florida. (the votes fell in Bush's favor, and he won)

There was no evidence of that narrative being true and evidence of it being false, but it fit the narrative Fox "news" wanted to push. So, the "news" group went with it. The reporter quit because he was a real reporter.

Hannity is right, he gets paid to opine. Earlier the news reporters before the prime time slots just talk about hard news or unless.

So, don't say Hannity is the only opinion/lying side of Fox, opinions and lies are also on the supposed "hard news" side too.

Hannity is just a less loud version of Alex Jones.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Nope, Fox is well known for peddling partisan rhetoric for the Republicans.   The only time I watch the news that is unbiased, is about local situations.   As for national, I might listen to them once in a while to see what kind of stuff they're trying to peddle again, but take it with a grain of salt of course.   I miss the days when news networks (regardless of the political standing of the person/s that own the network) would try to provide unbiased political information about the government and politicians.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Actually, do a google news search for "Victoria Nuland cookies." Top stories are from Sputnik, RT, Cnsnews, and Real News Network. Hilarious teehee;)

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Don't care as I don't follow any specific news organisation(except for news from my country), simply use a news aggregation service for international news.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Hey, Fizzbit. Where did you get the news about the conspiracy theory about the murder of the British MP to influence the Brexit vote?

Was it on Fox?

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Hey, Fizzbit. Where did you get the news about the conspiracy theory about the murder of the British MP to influence the Brexit vote?

Hey Jimizo, I'm very sure that I admitted my error back then. Take a look. You bringing it up again makes you look petty. Was Oswald the lone assassin? See what I mean?

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

Readers, please stop bickering.

takeda.shingen.1991@gmail.com

Thanks for that search suggestion. It sheds a lot of light.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Fox News is a total joke and pure propaganda for the Koch brothers and the Republican Party. The denizen in the WH has committed treason and no response, the black president does an excellent job and he is a muslim terrorist. And while they are lying daily they are forcing women to have sex with them or get fired. Fox viewers are pathetic sad misinformed trolls. But Fox does make money selling fake drugs and adult diapers from its average age nearly 70 viewers. That they do well, rip off their senile viewers.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Fox News is indistinguishable from fake news. They are one and the same. I think their view was that as long as they uttered the syllables 'fair and balanced' regularly, they didn't actually need to be 'fair and balanced' in any way. They are joined in the fake news ecosystem by Breitbart, the Daily Mail and the Russian and Chinese government propaganda machines, among others.

And it is ridiculous for Trumpeters to complain about 'unfair' treatment from the media in general. Their man is treated in exactly the same way as any other politician would be. The reason he gets far more negative comments than any other politician on earth is not due to unfair treatment, but is because he is a stupid liar. People have noticed his inability to ever tell the truth, or to hold a thought in his head for more than 15 seconds, and so this naturally attracts far more negative comments than a normal person would.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

The last time I actually sat down and watched Fox news was about 2 months after the invasion of Iraq. The banner headline on the screen read, "WMDs found in Iraq."

4 ( +5 / -1 )

The donor, Ed Butowsky, is depicted as being intimately involved in a story on the Rich case being prepared by Fox reporter Malia Zimmerman. Butowsky met with outgoing White House press secretary Sean Spicer to talk about the investigation's findings.

Oh! So the guy pushing for the story met with the Press Secretary at the WH to talk about the story and try to distact from the Russian meddling! Wow. Fox sure seems like the propaganda outlet for this WH.

The lawsuit also claimed Trump read Zimmerman's story two days before publication and was anxious to see it run — even backing the inclusion of two quotes from Wheeler that the investigator claims he never said.

So, the POTUS has a history of lying and getting others to lie for him, that is no secret. But this is getting a major news outlet to lie for you.

Fox, however, hasn't specifically addressed the issue of any Trump administration involvement in the story.

In other words, they didn't deny it. It doesn't take much to say "The Trump administration wasn't involved". The fact they didn't means it definitely happened.

The WH seems to have been caught peddling a false story that made a circus of a person's murder and brought enormous grief to his family. And they have a major news outlet in cahoots with them who published a made-up story knowingly to help the WH in distracting from an ongoing federal investigation.

These people are so incompetent they can't even collude properly.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

@stormcrow

"If I were to run, I'd run as a Republican.............................................."

I'm not defending Trump or any of his quite entertaining acolytes posting here but, according to Snopes and many others that did not happen.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

We've been down this road many times before. No, we would not have known anything yet since the investigation is still ongoing.

And so far produced nothing.

We won't know anything for sure until it is concluded and it's findings become public.

And there probably won't be anything, but if there is, I'll accept the outcome, but if he's cleared, I hope you guys on the left will give up your witch hunt.

Therefore, trying to discredit something based on information which has not been made public but is still part of the investigation is simply coming to a premature judgment without waiting for all of the facts to come to light.

But you guys are doing the same thing. You guys are acting as if without a doubt Trump did something wrong, so why is the left once again trying to preach as if they have the moral high ground in this? It's irresponsible for the left to come up with any conclusions as to the guilt (if any) of this man. You guys think there is something, I think this is all based on the lefts insatiable Vendetta towards their humiliating loss.

I'm curious how it feels to be a dog on the MSM leash.

Like an ex-Fox reporter who was told by Fox management to go with the narrative that news reporters claiming Gore won Florida prematurely caused Bush voters in West Florida to not vote,

Ahhh, the disgruntled worker, I forgot his name....what was it again? Prescott, if I'm not mistaken, right?

which caused Bush to lose Florida. (the votes fell in Bush's favor, and he won)

For the life of me, I just don't get why libs pass on their mishaps on the right? Libs never take responsibility for their actions, like with Hillary. No Democrat, after what Clinton did was going to win the White House, it just wasn't going to happen and especially not with the creator of the internet.

There was no evidence of that narrative being true and evidence of it being false, but it fit the narrative Fox "news" wanted to push. So, the "news" group went with it. The reporter quit because he was a real reporter.

What? Lol, such nonesense. If this keeps up, you guys won't win any elections in the near future.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

I recall CNN selling every gosh darn war the deep state asked for. This fake news about FOX is just click bait IMO, and it worked. Have you ever seen paradise, simply look around and choose it.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

The last time I actually sat down and watched Fox news was about 2 months after the invasion of Iraq. The banner headline on the screen read, "WMDs found in Iraq."

My favourite was a cross-eyed, tongue-flapping imbecile on Fox who claimed to be a terrorism expert. He told the female presenter that the second largest city in the UK, Birmingham, was 100% Muslim. The large Hindu and Sikh and communities in that city weren't the only ones who were shocked to find this out. The female presenter seemed to swallow all of it but she'd probably had plenty of practice of that working at Fox.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

And so far produced nothing.

I can see that my original explanation has been lost on you. You won't be seeing anything until the investigations have run their courses, so if you are expecting to see "smoking guns" or other evidence that would satisfy you, they simply won't be out there anytime soon. I don't know how many times this has to be explained to you.

And there probably won't be anything, but if there is, I'll accept the outcome, but if he's cleared, I hope you guys on the left will give up your witch hunt.

Yeah, just like you did when the results for the Benghazi investigations and the Clinton e-mail investigations were announced, right? I seem to recall you doing everything but accepting the results. Ditto for Fox and other right-wing media outlets.

But you guys are doing the same thing. You guys are acting as if without a doubt Trump did something wrong, so why is the left once again trying to preach as if they have the moral high ground in this?

No, not everyone is "doing the same thing." Many posters here have been trying to defend the investigations based on the Trump supporters here doing everything that they can do try and discredit them.

It's irresponsible for the left to come up with any conclusions as to the guilt (if any) of this man.

Not everyone is. Also, it is equally irresponsible to dismiss all of this or try to discredit this whole situation based upon partisan rhetoric before the investigations have concluded. Let's remember here that the investigations in the Senate and House are bi-partisan, and Mueller was supported by both Republicans and Democrats when he was appointed to be the special independent investigator.

I think this is all based on the lefts insatiable Vendetta towards their humiliating loss.

I think it is based on the conclusions of our various intelligence agencies which seem to have come up with enough evidence to warrant several investigations. If you think Trump hasn't done anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about. Simply allow the investigations to finish.

If this keeps up, you guys won't win any elections in the near future.

Not related to the article. This just another distraction thrown up by you to try and get people's focus off the topic and talking about something else.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

My favourite was a cross-eyed, tongue-flapping imbecile on Fox who claimed to be a terrorism expert.

Which one? Obviously, he knew a lot to be in the position he was in to even be on TV.

Hmmmm......You're not really saying anything that the other networks don't do, the only difference, they had to fire, retract, cancel shows, create new ones and still they couldn't deliver the news properly, but thank God we have choices and not like 25 years ago when libs domintated the entire industry and then once a week have a conservative come out to challenge the left.

Fox News is a total joke and pure propaganda for the Koch brothers and the Republican Party.

I hope you know the Koch brothers had nothing to do with the creation of the FNC. It was Ailes, the Koch brothers are probably the largest power money contributors to the RNP and that's bad? You guys have Hollyweird and their money might backing you, how is that not a joke? Cher, Meryl Streep? Give me a break! No wonder the DNP is dying a slow death.

The denizen in the WH has committed treason and no response, the black president does an excellent job and he is a muslim terrorist.

If he did an excellent job the Dems would never have lost over 1000 legislative seats, the House and the Senate as well as the presidency, all reflective of a failed presidency.

And while they are lying daily they are forcing women to have sex with them or get fired.

"They? All of them?" Kinda over generalizing a bit?

Fox viewers are pathetic sad misinformed trolls. But Fox does make money selling fake drugs and adult diapers from its average age nearly 70 viewers. That they do well, rip off their senile viewers.

Wow! Misinformed? Had they not watched FNC they could have made a very regrettable choice last November. Hate or love them, at least we got to see the true character of both candidates and people looked at the other one and said, not again, 8 years was enough. Good luck to the left. ROFL

CNN, the channel Trump reserves special ire for as fake news, fired people for publishing a misleading or wrong story. Fox, the channel actually caught willingly and knowingly publishing fake news, will most likely do nothing. In fact, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if they promote the people involved or have them quit to take up jobs at the White House.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

That supposed Trump quote from People Magazine has been debunked more than once.

In fact, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if they promote the people involved or have them quit to take up jobs at the White House.

Before Trump became president, neither CNN or MSNBC had problems with Trump whatsoever, in fact, he was a frequent guest, made NBC a ton of money, now all the hate? Yeah, I'm not surprised.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

That supposed Trump quote from People Magazine has been debunked more than once.

Oh the irony! One of the only things he's ever said that I agree with and it turns out to be fake. Beautiful.

That might be a clue Bass; they don't hate the man Trump, they just hate what he's doing now. You seem to assume they are tearing into him without reason. It's nothing personal etc

What? You bought that line! Not only do they hate Trump, but they hate the people that voted for him even more and good. We had to deal with a stagnant WH for 8 years, now it's their turn.

There is a lot of inside baseball going on in this attack on Fox. CNN just had to fire three employees for making up fake news. All of the media is doing it. Certainly NY Times and Wash Post have been caught peddling inaccurate news since Trump got the GOP nomination.

The press wanted Trump because they thought he would be easy to beat. So they gave him tons of free air time. Hillary raised and spent more than a billion dollars on the election. Trump spent just a bit little more than half of that and still won. That is unheard of!

The main stream media remains in disbelief that Trump won. I myself sometimes have a hard time believing it. But the press needs to accept reality. Republicans always get the short end of the stick from the press but this time it has gotten ridiculous. All of Trumps faults are amplified. All of Obama's were minimized. For that reason, many people - including me - love it when Trump attacks the press for their disparate treatment and unhidden bias. The press is often considered less favorably than Trump and they do more damage to their own credibility by their relentless attacks on him.

Best news is Fox News is not available in Japan! It is propaganda channel of the American Republican Party and President Trump. This story shows how Fox News is Fake News.

You more than anyone here seem to love this kind of behaviour. Read what you just posted.

I never said that, but I know the business and basically, you have ratings race between the two 2 other networks trying to catch up to FNC and understandingly so. When you are a distant 3rd and your competitor fired its creator and biggest Journalist, you'd be a fool not to jump on the opportunity to rush to 1st place.

Yes, by copying the model. Fox is a trash right tabloid on air and CNN and MSNBC are sinking to the same level. Why are you defending Fox?

This is Murdoch. His tabloid business in the UK had the same pattern. He went further into the gutter than others and they were forced to follow him. Thankfully, one of his trash tabloids has been flushed away after a truly filthy scandal.

I know you like the message Fox sends out, but it is trash.

What? You bought that line!

Allow me a quick ROFL please. Which one of his lies haven't you bought? The man lies about the weather! He even lies about phone calls from scout leaders! It's hilarious.

YuriItani: Best news is Fox News is not available in Japan! It is propaganda channel of the American Republican Party

And the Democrats and their leaders have nearly every other cable and network news organization in their corner. It's not as if this is somehow an unfair media environment for the Left! MSNBC alone is every bit as partisan and one sided as Fox. Should conservatives not be allowed to see their views aired in the media?

Everytime the Left complains about Fox what they are really concerned with is the lack of control over what citizens in a free society are allowed access to.

Stop freaking out over Fox. It is only one small segment of a very large media environment dominated by corporate news organizations dedicated to moving forward the Lefts agenda.

"Fox News" is neither news nor has it ever had credibility. It is pure propaganda, just like MSNBC.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

25 years ago, the ONLY conservative on TV was old Bob Novak the left would drag out of the basement that would spare on "Crossfire" with some liberal, that was it. There was nothing else out there for more than half of the country, Ne rebuke, nothing until Ailes tapped into the market that there was an underserved audience, like them or not, without them, we would just have to listen to liberal point of viewpoints forever and thank God, those days are behind us.

I seriously doubt your background in professional media/ journalism with writing like this.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Which one? Obviously, he knew a lot to be in the position he was in to even be on TV.

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/jan/11/fox-news-steven-emerson-birmingham-muslims

Steven Emerson. Who had to apologise for his lies:

“There was no excuse for making this mistake and I owe an apology to every resident of Birmingham. I am not going to make any excuses. I made an inexcusable error. And I am obligated to openly acknowledge that mistake.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Steven Emerson. Who had to apologise for his lies:

And just two weeks ago CNN fired three "journalists" for lying. So yes journalists lie and both sides have partisans in the press pretending to be neutral when they obviously are not. Fox is easy for the Left to attack because they are essentially the only news outlet that isn't always attacking the Right. All the rest are all anti- Conservative all the time.

This is really an open joke. We all know that the leading news people at all of the networks have a partisan bias. If you cannot acknowledge or realize that fact then that's on you. The Left is simply upset because one of them isn't following the Dem party line. Meanwhile Republicans are frustrated by the overall institutional bias against them.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

I doubt whether in any country there is a news paper with honesty and integrity intact. Most of the media barons are not for news as news, but to make business out of it. When news is going to be treated as commodity, it is going to have credibility gap and honesty trap. Today many channels or dailies support the ruling elites and some are known for changing sides every time, when the government or party changes power. In many countries, the political parties have their own mouth piece, unlike in China, where there is only mouth piece of the government and communist hegemony.

In many democratic countries, one news become a breaking news in all channels and it becomes views and projected as news. The news should be reported as it is. But masala is added and projected as news without any credibility check and professional responsibility.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I think Wheeler got scared, scared of ending up like Seth Rich.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Yes, by copying the model. Fox is a trash right tabloid on air and CNN and MSNBC are sinking to the same level. Why are you defending Fox?

Well, you have strong opinions about FNC and that's your right, I don't feel like that for many reasons, I worked for NBC, know a lot of people at the peacock network, know a lot of people at CNN in LA and for over 30 years seen how this business both domestically as well as internationally has gone so far to the left that the Russians even wouldn't give them citizenship. Even as bad as the other two cable outlets are and they are, but there are some good people that work there and to be honest Zucker and Griffin and are competing for the top spot, the news business as a whole are driven by ratings pure and simple, they all focus on stories and topics that are key to their survival, they are not government run outlets like NHK or the BBC.

You have strong opinionated views about FNC I get it, I have strong views about the MSM and just leave it at that, we will never agree, you think you are right, I don't and vice versa, but overall, whether you think FNC is trash or not, they have been a cable giant and for cable networks like CNN that started the 24 hour cable news cycle and later msnbc and FNC and FNC roared to 1st place, it didn't happen overnight, it took time and to have the number one slot and to have millions of people watching and to have your rivals attacking you every night to hopefully try to get an edge and beat you in the ratings speaks volumes of how people feel in this country and even with the departure of Ailes and O'Reilly they are still kicking the competition in the teeth.

This is Murdoch. His tabloid business in the UK had the same pattern. He went further into the gutter than others and they were forced to follow him. Thankfully, one of his trash tabloids has been flushed away after a truly filthy scandal.

Ok, but as an entrepreneur and as a capitalist businessman I give him props, you can think he's scum, I think different, we just have a difference of opinions.

I know you like the message Fox sends out, but it is trash.

I never said that, I think the other MSM are complete trash as well as politically bias.

It would appear that your information is out of date.

http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/fox-news-remains-the-no-1-cable-network-in-total-viewers/336925

Sorry, I got the updated version, my bad.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Fox is getting as bad as the BBC. Remember what Jeremy Clarkson said about Tesla? Or Richard Hammond's comments about Mexicans?

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Sorry, I got the updated version, my bad.

Not according to my sources. Your source claimed: "Fox News ranked No. 1 across cable in total day viewers for the 13th straight month, per Nielsen," yet my sources have them at third in March, April, and May, so something is not adding up correctly here. Also, this claim is very suspect:

"Additionally, FNC was No. 1 in the month of July in total prime time viewers, and has now defeated rivals CNN and MSNBC in total prime time viewers for 187 straight months." Again, not according to my sources.

Now, we can go back and forth all day quoting whatever sources that we want on this, but all that is going to lead to is a cul-de-sac of claims and counter-claims. Both sides have plenty of ammo. However, if you want to believe that Fox is king, then you go right ahead.

Statistics can be manipulated and twisted to fit any desired outcome. For example, these surveys do not take into account two factors: (1) Not everyone gets their news from TV. Many people, especially young people, tend to get their news from the Internet or non-cable news sources, so they don't get included in many surveys. An article in The Atlantic in August of last year stated that television is particularly popular among men, people who didn’t go to college, and people over the age of 70, which is a great description of a predictable conservative (Retired seniors watch more than 50 hours of television a week.) Indeed, this older male group is not only ready-made for cable-television-viewing; it comes prepackaged with extremely conservative views, so if you base your numbers on a certain demographic, then yes, Fox is king. (2) Independents and Democrats have a variety of news outlets to choose from, so no one single source is going to get all of the audience share for that particular category. Case in point, Fox News appeals to a certain demographic—older male conservatives.  According to whatever source you want to pick from, they get an audience of 2 or 3 million viewers, which their supporters claim is "a lot." However, in an election where about 120 million people voted, 2 or 3 million doesn't seem to be that much. Where are the other 117 or 118 million voters getting their information from? Both of these factors indicate that surveys based on a captive audience and small segment of society should be viewed as nothing but a microcosm of the preferences of one particular age group--not society as a whole.

The average age of the Fox News viewer is 68. There is going to be a point where many of these viewers are going to start to die off, thus reducing the number of people making up their audience. I wouldn't be surprised to see a completely different set of "ratings" within the next 5 to 10 years--and not in Fox's favor.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

I remember the Fox Fake News of the so called " NO Muslim No go zone" in Paris and Birmingham, it was so hilarious, more of the circus please but as a comedy show, not as a news channel

4 ( +5 / -1 )

We all know that the leading news people at all of the networks have a partisan bias. If you cannot acknowledge or realize that fact then that's on you.

Actually, the onus is on you to back that up with links/citations/sources.

The Left is simply upset because one of them isn't following the Dem party line.

I'm going to assume you're American, as you seem to be conflating the "left" with Democrats. The Democrats are a centerist party. They are about as "left" as Alf Garnett (or Archie Bunker, if you prefer). But since powerful Americans and their acolytes in the press have demonised the ideas of alternatives to the right wing agenda - the Dems are probably the closest (i.e. not very) thing to a left wing alternative. In essence, Hilary Clinton would have been more of the same centerist, corporate, middle class and elitist day to day life that has gone before. Trump, to his credit, has no qualms about disguising his ambitions and contempt for ordinary Americans and decorum. It will be his undoing, make no mistake but lessons have to be learned. The Republicans are just the other side of the Democrats coin. Ordinary working class people and marginalised people on the poverty line are still going to get stomped on repeatedly. No matter which party wins until a viable substitute for rampant capitalism and inherent greed comes along.

Meanwhile Republicans are frustrated by the overall institutional bias against them.

Those poor billionaires. Constantly being oppressed. Despite being in charge of everything.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

as a liberal I have nothing against intelligent conservative viewpoints  from the likes of Bob Novak and George Will. but you can't call those nitwits at Fox News serious journalists.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

What credibility?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Not according to my sources. Your source claimed: "Fox News ranked No. 1 across cable in total day viewers for the 13th straight month, per Nielsen," yet my sources have them at third in March, April, and May, so something is not adding up correctly here. Also, this claim is very suspect:

Sorry, but in television, the ONLY ratings that matters are the Nielson ratings.

Now, we can go back and forth all day quoting whatever sources that we want on this, but all that is going to lead to is a cul-de-sac of claims and counter-claims.

No, because cable and basic television have always relied on the Nielson rating, it's the gold standard and most accurate and bible of what every station and network go by.

Both sides have plenty of ammo. However, if you want to believe that Fox is king, then you go right ahead.

It's not what I believe, it's what I see, they've beaten the competition for over 13 years straight, ow if you say, you don't like the network, that's a subjective and personal opinion, understandable. We are all different in our wiring and political viewpoints, but Griffin and Zucker have been trying to catch up to FNC for years and when O'Reilly left, it finally gave Maddow a bomb she never saw in her entire career, but now that Tucker Carlson is in Bill's spot, that number one for Maddow was short lived.

The average age of the Fox News viewer is 68. There is going to be a point where many of these viewers are going to start to die off,

And when they die late 80's or 90's theoff the independents which are outgrowing both parties those kids in their 30's will be wiser and in their 50's and back to watching FNC realizing they wasted too much time partying and not paying attention to the jokester son CNN and msnbc. The cycle continues.

Good on FNC, they have the right formula, just wait for the next generation.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

It's not what I believe

Fox viewers think that Hillary is a mass murderer because that is what FOX is reporting. I guess Trump followers would say that CNN lies due to that reason and they think that FOX is 100% truthful. So if CNN doesn't report Hillary as a mass murderer Trump voters think CNN is fake news. They think real news is that Hillary has murdered many people.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

LMAO!!!~~ but NOT ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS ??? Lol...yeah, right. O.K.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Sorry, but in television, the ONLY ratings that matters are the Nielson ratings.

My sources also claim the Nielson ratings. How do you square that?

. . . they've beaten the competition for over 13 years straight,

Nope, not according to my sources.

And when they die late 80's or 90's theoff the independents which are outgrowing both parties those kids in their 30's will be wiser and in their 50's and back to watching FNC realizing they wasted too much time partying and not paying attention to the jokester son CNN and msnbc. I honestly have no idea what that you just said since it makes no sense. You wrote a 51-word run-on sentence/fragment.

Good on FNC, they have the right formula, just wait for the next generation.

Yep, please keep thinking that. It's the right formula for extinction.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

My sources also claim the Nielson ratings. How do you square that?

Great, so you know FNC still overall ranks first, so While Maddow for now is enjoying the limelight it's only because of the departure of O'Reilly otherwise she'd be in a distant usual third, so finally after 20 plus years. Lol

Nope, not according to my sources

YOUR sources? There's only one ratings system the networks use to track viewership. You guys....too funny.

Yep, please keep thinking that. It's the right formula for extinction.

Extinction???? FNC with over 115 million viewers on a cold day? Hmmmm...from the looks of the Democratic Party, it would seem they are the party that's becoming extinct. I wish them all the luck that they're going to need in the future.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

YOUR sources?

Yes, and the latest scam is Trump has confirmed he will have taxpayers pay for the wall. What a scammer (and Trump voters believed Mexico would pay for the wall..ha ha ha, joke is on you guys!!!)

3 ( +4 / -1 )

FNC with over 115 million viewers on a cold day?

Fox does not have 115 million viewers on any given day. Right now, they are averaging 2.4 million. That's a far cry from the 115 million that you just made up.

. . . from the looks of the Democratic Party, it would seem they are the party that's becoming extinct.

Keep telling yourself that. The results for the 2018 midterms might say otherwise.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Fox does not have 115 million viewers on any given day. Right now, they are averaging 2.4 million. That's a far cry from the 115 million that you just made up. thats the thing with Fox its subliminal mind controls have brainwashed its viewers into thinking everything it reports and Trumps states as facts.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

lmao. it is quite amusing reading a left winger create paragraphs of nonsense to complain about fake news at fox news, knowing the left wing is only fake news, CNN, new your times, the guardian... and all others but set that amusement aside for this, article. paragraphs off mention of every left wing nonsense story rolled into one on a claim about fox news pushing fake news and not one piece of evidence. I'm not saying it isn't true but is it really that hard to investigate fox news websites, articles, videos and copies to show if the clowns claim is true? do the lack of anyone posting the offending material cost of says it's all nonsense. it's fox news, their stuff is published. so if you ate not showing it, it must not exist.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

to complain about fake news at fox news

Not only that but they are being sued for the fake Seth Rich story. This is a legal matter that proves FOX makes fake news. Is CNN being sued for any kind of fake news? No? Then it proves they are truthful and just the Trump believers hate them for providing the truth that Trump has broken all his promises like no Hillary arrest and no wall. FOX is fake and the lawsuit proves it.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Is CNN being sued for any kind of fake news? No? Then it proves they are truthful and just the Trump believers hate them for providing the truth that Trump has broken all his promises like no Hillary arrest and no wall.

I don't watch FOX, but anyone defending CNN belongs in the children's sandbox or the troll cave. CNN sold Bush's Iraq war. Where were you when this was happening?

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

CNN sold Bush's Iraq war.

Trump talked openly about the possibility of using nuclear weapons. That's more dangerous. FOX is being sued, not CNN.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

And this just in:

No, I was talking total in the throughout the US, not in a day, big difference.

Keep telling yourself that. The results for the 2018 midterms might say otherwise.

Hmmmm...that would mean they would have to win some elections and they lost 5 very critical elections this year, so if that's any indicator, the Dems have a lot to be worried about and I would too if I were a Democrat.

I think the same about the Clinton Control Network and the National Barack Channel, but they are on, so you think it's ok to watch news outlets that spew one-sided political views? I don't, thank God for the FNC, otherwise we would be hearing conservative point of views once a week only.
