France blocks train from Italy with migrants

I hope these people respect French law and culture, and not try to force their own.

The Italians are being rather disingenuous when they claim they are following the Schengen rules. Tunisians require a visa to enter Italy: how many of the migrants had a valid visa? If they didn't have a valid visa they should be deported, not given travel permits.

Problem is europe has a huge immigration problem which costs countries a lot.

Looks like Italy wanted to pass their own problem along to france, who quiet rightly said we will take the people that can support themselves.

Nothing to do with Islam/Muslims, heck europe also gets a LOT of illegal immigrants from as far as China, Thailand, etc.

IMHO, time for people to stop looking to other countries for better lifes/opportunities as those countries cannot handle/support those immigrants any longer. Europe right now can't handle the influx of immigrants and that was even before NATO/USA decided to step into Libiya, etc.

I think most EU nations, even the dementedly PC UK realize the need to stop the rampant flow of immigrants coming to suck of Europe's gargantuan social tit.

Probabaly not but dwelling on the actions of the past, with most involved now being 6 foot under is quite frankly ridiculous. And besides, France is suffering the consequences of her colonial aspirations from the past.

Well Madverts, I will wager you lose a lot of bets. The Italian government did not load them onto those trains and doubt they let them into Italy thinking "Oh, they are headed for France anyway. Next!". Suggesting irresponsibility was compelling. Suggesting off-loading is not.

them wild Africans by making so many Africans cheap labor to Europe, now the French, English etc..are all paying the consequences. Viva la France??

I'd like to hear Elbudamexicano and afroengineer explain how the current political unrest in Tunisia is a dircet result of French colonisation in the 1880's and when, if ever, is it appropriate to shift the balance of blame onto the shoulders of these countries' current ruling elites and away from from their old colonial oppressors. My folks (Irish and Scottish) have relatives who are convinced that every ill in their life is because of King Edward II and Oliver Cromwell and so don't have much time for the English. It doesn't bother me as I think they are just soft in the head but it would be interesting to know if you think a statute of limitations exists on our responsibilities, for both sides' sake.
