Expecting humanitarian help from US is madness. They would never sell gas cheap to EU. They are the greediest of all. But hey, they are the ones that claimed "Greed is Good".

I agree, good question: why have the globe's establishment, government and private, kept economies so dependent on burning huge amounts of non-renewable fossil fuels, further damaging all forms of life, and allowed a handful of oil producing nations, to have so much control. It's long passed time to think again about how to generate power, then develop and implement alternatives to burning so much oil and gas.

The French elite love to mock Britain and pretend that we're some kind of basket-case. It's all sour grapes, of course, because we left the EU and left them to the tender mercies of the Germans. It seems no one has been paying much attention to the meltdown of France, which will become very obvious quite soon.

there is a lot of oil available,a lot of gas available,a lot of grain available and there suppose to be no electricity shortage at all-to make things normal again all you need is to start to act in name of your national interests and not in interests of USA,scrap antirussian sanctions,restart north stream 1 and 2 than push UA and RU to negotiate about peace.this is not any "high science" at all.just common sense unless EU politicians are not completely out of mind.
