Yeah! Because focusing on the. Ulnerable im society means we are excluding everyone else! Sweet "logic."

Good to see France taking action on this issue now. With Russia expanding its Eurasian Economic Union using its oil, gas and coal as economic weapons, with Russia's disregard for women's issues, 'western' nations finland-ized by Russia could be at risk down the road.

@chip You might not be aware but almost as many men are victims of domestic violence as woman.

Feminist group #NousToutes, 4 paragraphs from the end does not simply mean 'all of us', but rather 'all of us women'.

Of course it is women who are mostly affectly by domestic violence in a couple, but I deem focusing on specific violence is never good for society. For example 10% of men are in that case.
What is much more fair is to focus on how to give particular means to deal with such horrific situation : removing violent partner from home, protecting kids, stopping possible direct or indirect contacts between partners, consideration of crime immediately by police if necessary (rape, psychological trauma, etc)

Just because it doesn't focus on domestic violence against men as well, does not mean it's bad. It's just not as good as it should be.

In Russia, they don't believe in restraining orders
