Dreadful scenes in Malatya with more than 5,000 killed. Snow storms and heavy rain. No aid can get into Syria,

Just horrific. A slushy snow falling just makes things worse. At least during the Kumamoto quakes the weather was tolerable for the subsequent few days (it rained four days afterwards, which is when I discovered my roof was damaged.)

Shocking footage. Just hope they can find and bring out more people.

Most trapped and alive under the rubble will die from injury, cold or dehydration before they can vibe freed.

It's heartbreaking. I feel for their helpless families.

A newly born baby was found but the mother was already gone.
