No, I severely doubt supporters of these women would murder an elderly woman and then use her blood to write a message. That's diabolic! Much more plausible is Putin's agents did it in an attempt to sway public (and international )opinion against the jailed women. No other words other than diabolic.

The old Soviet's style is alive and well under Putin. Russians deserve better than that. Cheers.

@ Olegek: I could see where a half witted publicity stunt might be condemed and that's what Pussy Riot did. Heck, even the name is provocative. But jail time? That's a bit much.

But even as much as I dislike Putin and what he is doing in Russia I don't think he is going to condone murder as a plant to disparage Pussy Riot. I'm guessing that the perp is a madman or doped up to the point where he's basically crazy.

Ok, someone is completely off their rocker and sick to no end. Trying to free a female band by stabbing women? Evil does exist and makes itself apparent every day.

most of the rest had no opinion.

Most of the rest still remember the times not so long ago when having an opinion -- or even being suspected of having an opinion -- got them sentenced to the Gulag.

Can someone explain to me what does it mean: "Kremlin-linked Public Opinion Foundation" as opposed to Kremlin-not-linked or not-Kremlin-linked. What are the consequences and how AFP knows? I am so tired of propaganda in every single article.

You will be supprised, but most of Russian have a deep respect toward church ...

Most of them are patriots ...

Most of them love motherland.......

Most of them think that Russia proud and independent land .......

Most of them think that they should themselves decide their future without foreign intervention...

So these call-girls go to prison ? Good news !
