French will need health pass by Monday after court approval

R.I.P. France.

A French constitutional court on Thursday validated most aspects of a new law that, starting next week, requires people to carry a special COVID-19 health pass to access cafes, restaurants, long-distance travel and, in some cases, hospitals

The article does not define what this "health pass" is. If it is a vaccination certificate, it is both meaningless (as we now know that the vaccinated can get infected and spread infection) and legally extremely dubious (as the government would be forcing to get injected with an experimental drug).

If it is something else, then what is it?

The health pass is basically an electronic ID. If you an illegal immigrant, you are unlikely to be able to get it, so it is also a way of controlling that too.

You should get vaccinated if you medically can, but the stuff that is being packaged with the vaccine passport is starting to look Orwellian.

Expect more governments to impose controls on free movement and electronic surveillance via pandemic responses as they see easy opportunities to do so.

Unfortunately, such behaviour politicises vaccination, which is a bad thing.

The UK system is less restrictive than the French one, but policies change quickly.

Especially if you're an unvaccinated, those people don't want you in their countries
