A Health Pass is anything but that.

First of all, are we all to assume that health is a steady state condition and that immunity from all infectious variants is absolute and indefinite?

Vaccine efficacy is already proving fleeting. And in likely non existent for some of the emerging variants.

Then what? A phone App or piece of paper that is meaningless, except for representing another block of government bureaucracy. Another government fee.

No logic. No positive impact. No health.

The Coronavirus is going to be with us for a long time to come because of these anti-vaxxers. And many of these people, especially in the U.S. it seems, are also anti-maskers. They do nothing but whine about how hard this is for them . . . only them.

Get vaccinated and put on a mask while you're at it.

Just a taste of the “freedumbs” anti-vazxers will experience for their selfish, anti-science attitudes.

“You can’t force me!”

No, but we can shun you from polite society to protect ourselves.

No shirt, no shoes, no service. It’s all about personal hygiene. Not getting a vaccine is more of a problem for other customers than someone not wearing a shirt or shoes. No shirt, no shoes, no vaccine, no service.

"But please don't force your opinions on everybody else."

It's just an opinion and your free to disagree. At the same time, since you're talking about the use of force, don't force vaccinated people to sit next to those who are unmasked and not vaccinated in public settings such as restaurants or bars.

Personally I think that the longer we let this nasty virus have time to evolve, mutate and become stronger in the process, the more trouble we're going to have down the road in terms of developing new and even stronger vaccines. In other words, if you think the vaccines now are too strong, you can expect them to be even stronger if we let Covid grow and evolve. We should nip this problem in the bud right now while we have the means to do it. Otherwise, Covid is just going to have a breeding ground with the un-vaccinated to evolve and mutate, just like it has already, and become even stronger in the process.

Nip it in the bud now! Don't wait! Hesitation kills. Get vaccinated.

shunning people on the basis of being unvaccinated is not racist. Shunning people based on race is racist. The unvaccinated are not a protected class. They’re selfish morons.

And private businesses have to enforce any public law that the elected government deems necessary. So, no. I don’t agree.

Antimaskers and antivaxxers are always complaining! It's OK carry on to your own health detriment you have a right to choose how you go out! No skin of my nose. I am fully vaxed and masked. The longer you lot carry on the less of you are going to be around LOL.

"Restaurants and bars are not public places."

Okay, they're private places where people from the public go.

"Don't like a cafe's policy, then don't go there."

Okay, fair enough. At the same time, if a cafe chooses not to permit those not vaccinated, then they should not be angry. Right now, given the choice, it looks like most cafes would prefer to serve those vaccinated rather than those not vaccinated, wouldn't you say? But it's their choice and these are strange and difficult times.

Actually, my spouse didn't want to get the vaccine. It's your choice, I said, But I'm going to get vaccinated.

My reason for getting the vaccine wasn't because I love vaccines and I look forward to that jab in the arm. My reason was out of a sense of duty to myself and those around me. Just this past week I found out one of my younger students had Covid, luckily there's a strict mask policy where I work and I haven't shown any signs. Thank goodness for the masks! I get my second shot next week, so I'm still not fully vaccinated. But I feel it's my duty to get vaccinated not just for myself but those around me. I have kids in my home, so I don't want to give Covid to them. That would bother me more than anything.

Anyway, it's your body and I know I can't force you to get vaccinated. However, if you live with somebody, especially if there are kids around you, you might want to think really hard about it.

And in my opinion No smoking rules and the enforcement of them, have been among the best things that countries that ban smoking in public places have done for the general population.

If smokers want to smoke cigarettes, let him roll up the windows in their own car and smoke away. Or go back home to light up and leave the rest of us alone (Traffic).

Same with anti-vaxxers let them stay at home and watch one of Rupert Murdoch's many entertainers feed them more lies to support the corporations he and his family are most heavily invested in, plus support the QGOP politicians doing his and his fellow plutocrat's bidding.

Or they can surf the Internet from the comfort of their own safe rooms surrounded by their weapons collections plus read up on various spins of reality, perhaps about the latest alien reptile sightings, or something else posted by an 'influencer' on 8Chan.
