It is refreshing to have a Pres with dogs and a cat. Those of us with pets in our family appreciate it. Mr. Trump and his family didn't know the love and joy a couple of good doggies bring. It would have done them a world of good I think. The current President's dramas with his shelter dog are very much the same sorts of dramas those of use who adopt shelter pets often face socializing them with humans and our other pets. So yes some of us are interested not just in the world around us but in something as seemingly minor as how the Presidents dogs are doing and can they get along with what we joking call in our home a "big mean cat". lol.

Nice to hear that the current White House is not continuing 45's assaults on a free, for-profit press. But then Biden and team seem committed to the democratic principles the republic is built on, not undermining them like 45 did in his and his admin's quest to make the US more like Russia or China.

I have not heard 'fake news' being used by this WH. I have only read or heard 'fake news' used by far right media (arguably the biggest creators of fake news on the planet and by 45 followers, they use it pretty consistently whenever an article with opinions different from theirs is published.

Unfortunately Rupert Murdoch's Tucker, Hannity etal, have used Biden's dogs in Murdoch's never ending assaults on Biden. and anyone else who is not far right and a follower of 45.

Murdoch knows, his audiences understand stories about dogs, Murdoch knows that his cable news entertainment shows would lose viewers if they presented stories with anything more complex than dog bites security officer. Murdoch and the others in far right media have dumbed down reporting to appeal to their poorly educated base, Murdoch like his boy Trump knows how successful televangelists have been at pushing big lies on the poorly educated and use the same tactics.

Roughly 72 million American voters fall into the easily manipulated audience. Murdoch/Trump etal, continue to get rich off the far right base that is so easily duped.

As much as I hate her, she is pretty good at not answering questions directly.
