Seif al-Islam Put on a vest walk slowly towards the rebel troops while you hold the rip cord, do what some here think would be the "honorable" thing.
Nippon Nation
Rebels are nothing more then torrorist.
smithinjapan
Gadhafi's son will be singing another tune tomorrow morning... or not singing at all.
Nippon Nation: "Rebels are nothing more then torrorist."
Once again, as with 'hanging oneself is not suicide', I have to question your logic. Are the rebels terrorists as opposed to the regime they are fighting?
Asagao
This hero has guts. He has been driving around the front lines in a 3 vehicle convoy in a little truck. He has guts!
SquidBert
Sorry, I must have misunderstood, did you just call Seif al-Islam an hero?
The758
Preferably this

Seif al-Islam: "We are going to break the back of the rebels"
This nutter reminds me of Saddam's Information Minister.
Asagao
He is a hero in many ways, but still nothing in camparison to his great father. His father started out on the wrong side of the street, but got rid of nuclear and chemical weapons, something america and France and Britain haven't done. He has also loved and looked after the social needs of his country, something NATO countries are failing. Seif doesn't have the bad history his father has, so he can start afresh. He has more than proved to be a hero, and will defeat the oil-desperate western armies and their terrorist pawns. It didn't have to be this way. The violence will get nowhere.

Huge pie in the collective faces of Obama, Sarkozy and Cameron.
How do these fools feel now?
And so far, this illegal misadventure has cost the US taxpayer 900 million USD... no figures from France and UK, but they should be even higher.

Gadhafi and his family are numbered. They will fall within a matter of days as this is an uprising, not a civil war. Libya is the richest country in Africa with a rich oil reserve and 7 million people. For the past 42 years, all oil monies went to this man and none of the wealth was distributed to people of Libya. The justice will prevail.
globalwatcher
@Nippon Nation, then what is your definition of terrorists?
So you wanna label everyone who seek freedom as a terrorist? You are out your mind, pal.
Do you understand this mad man Gadhafi committed a crime against humanity murdering more than 13,000 his own people since 6 months ago? Do you how many more were murdered while he was in power including PANAM flight passengers? Give me a break.
Triumvere
Gadhafi is toast.
?? What planet are you on??
SquidBert
@Asagao,
Well at least, NATO countries (as you call them), with all their flaws, are at least providing their people with a vote.
Madverts
Triumvere,
Amazing isn't he?
I wonder how Libyan rebels smashing ghadaffi's treasured golden fist clenching a US fighter jet, fits Willi's anti-islamic fever?
SquidBert
@NipponNation
Well Rebels can be terrorists if they are using terror(Violent acts with the purpose of scaring the public) to achieve their political goals. It has been said many times, that one mans Freedom Fighter might be another mans terrorist.
I think many people would like to see the dictators of the Arab world leave their seats. I just hope that whoever comes next intends to give the people the democratic rights they deserve. The problem with revolution leaders is that they tend to stick to their newly achieved power, however good their intentions might have been from the beginning. Only time will tell I guess.
WilliB
globalwatcher:
Firstly, they will definitely NOT fall within a matter of days, you can bet on that. Let me remind you next week on your prediction here.
Secondly, how do you define the difference between an "uprising" and a "civil war"? There are pro and anti Gaddafi tribes in Libya. One side is fighting for Gaddafi, and the other (with Nato help) against Gaddafi. Explain how this is not a civil war.
SquidBert
I'd say that any people who loves their dictator either has a severe case of Stockholm-syndrome or has benefited financially from the oppression.
