The only thing that can be said for sure is that if Korea doesn't become more open and friendly towards not just LGBT people, but anyone who isn't in a position of power in Korea--women, ethnic minorities, the poor, the elderly--then Korea will fail. Its population will shrink and its economy will stagnate, and it will be following in Japan's problematic footsteps all the more closely. How conservative Koreans don't see that, I don't know.

When in love, no matter what your sexuality, we do the darndest things.

Wont comment much on this as I am American and not Korean. However I doubt their courts will be influenced much by the American Supreme Court. Most Americans do not agree with that decision... but oh well....

Sadly Korea is a very homophobic and racist country so I am not very optimistic :c

But I wish them luck!

Hopefully they would be able to have their marriage recognised, but doesn't seem like it :c
