Hamas to release 13 Israelis, 7 foreigners for 39 Palestinians after hours-long delay, mediators say

So that value of one Palestinian is roughly half that of others? Sounds a bit skewed.

None of the captured Israeli military are being returned.

Got a few credible sources for that claim? Be nice to see some.

Hamas sets those ratios, so go figure.

Actually, a few days ago, the number of murdered Palestinian children was 5,850. And that probably does not include the dead children who are still buried under the rubble of the flattened north half of Gaza.

Some of the hostages waved goodbye to the militants.

Give us a break JT please. Once again when these unusually long articles appear there is guaranteed one side heavy spin. Sho ga nai I guess , but the happy hostage narrative is over the top.

Maybe this pause in hostilities can bring about a agreement to release all the hostages, and in turn give rise to a ceasefire to find any hope of a political UN sponsored short term solution.

Netanyahu is not interested in a ceasefire or peace.

Correct, he wants all of Gaza because he wants to exploit its valuable natural resources (oil and natural gas).

No Americans still?

Hamas are playing a great game. first exchange is 13 for 39 and that is for women and children abducted Palestinians. 1 for 3 for the first exchange. drawing this hostage exchange is like pulling teeth. I wonder how much the jew population is hurting over these hostages. Like they really give a dam. If it not a relative what jew really cares. These are those wanting Gaza bomb to nothing and dam the other jews hostages. Pure evil. Hamas have the Jew dancing to their song. First the precision of the 7/10 military action breaking out of the Gaza swiftly killing over 1200 enemy and able to take 240 Hostages. That is a military coup just to break out of Gaza let alone killing 1200 enemy and to return with 240 Hostages in a matter of hours. Hoo Hah Hamas Hoo Hah Hezbollah.

45 would have sent in special forces, amirite? Never mind the stupidity of that when Israel can't even find their people.

Gaza. Oil and natural gas. What causes this nonsense to come forth?

It would seem, obviously, that the human race has learned nothing from its existence on this planet. Wars and genocide happen all to often, and over the hundreds of years countless millions have been killed, the true numbers will never be known. The majority of people want to live in peace but all to often crazy, genocidal leaders crop up to wreak havoc in what ever country they emerge in. I honestly do not think the worlds peoples will ever see lasting peace.
