RIP George - one of the good guys.

McGovern got about 37% of the popular vote, and lost the Electoral College vote to Nixon 520 to 17.

I remember I voted for him.
Our kids (drafted) were killed everyday in Vietnam and we were in soul searching. He is remembered as one of these couragerous leaders in US history.

Since warmongers on both sides of the aisle voted for Nixon, they got what they asked for. The "Police Action", never declared as war, raged on resulting in the countless deaths. Tricky Dicky's legacy is STILL dogging the public. The Rockefellers sure profited.
Look at the "choice" presented this time around: warmonger A or warmonger B.

I wish I was older so that I could have voted for him. It would have actually been a vote for someone and not a vote against the other guy. I take that back. It'd be both.
