Every weirdo's favorite boogeyman.

But where does all this hate for him come from? It's comes from the fact he is a progressive rich person, in a world where most rich people are very conservative and often downright oppressive and corrupt.

A rich Jew will always attract conspiracy theories. anti-Semitism never went away.

5 ( +11 / -6 )

He's rich, but gives money to causes that aren't going to make it easier for him to get richer.

He's famous for being leftist, but isn't a politician.

And though he is Jewish, the Israeli regime considers him an enemy, so there isn't a megaphone crowd screaming 'antiSemite' at people who criticize him, even those who actually are antiSemites.

So, yes, the Rabbit Hole Cannon Fodder love to dream up ways he, rather than reality, is a problem for them.

Morlocks, orcs, borg: evil forces in the imaginations of fantasy followers.

George Soros, the deep state, the media: evil forces in the imaginations of the alt right.

The MSM spent 3 years peddling Russia conspiracy theories.

Not a conspiracy theory.

Except perhaps to those in the global alt right and others who believe the Kremlin's reports instead of the dozens from 'western' intelligence agencies, and those who also believe reports from the fringe/kook media.

Just shows how important education is (and how dangerous a lack of education can be).

3 ( +5 / -2 )

For conservatives it used to be the Communist Conspiracy fraud. Now they only have George Soros to get at. Only one thing hasn't changed: the deluded cortège of right-wing troublemakers.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Oh the same ones that peddled Iraqi WMD.

No denying some US leaders used that lie to start another war for oil. But it's become a fallback attack long overused by the global alt right to assail anything related to 'western' intelligence. A defense so stale it has zero meaning. Except to the globe's far right who'll repeat in ad infinitum. It's a 'defense' when used identifies the poster's beliefs.

Soros, 89, has donated billions of dollars of his personal wealth to liberal and anti-authoritarian causes around the world

He sucks bigly.

Soros is a nasty piece of work.

Not a conspiracy theory.

I agree it's not a conspiracy theory; it's pure propaganda. A theory should at least be backed up by some evidence...

The MSM did put all they had into that Russia collusion propaganda, and then they suddenly went silent. Why isn't there any detailed AP article like the one above describing that hoax?

I think the Trump admin is investigating the Antifa and BLM backing, and I do suspect it will lead to Soros. I guess that is why they are publishing these articles...

A theory should at least be backed up by some evidence...

I think many non-Americans and even some Americans distrust the findings of the Mueller Report, findings of Congress (both sides of the aisle) and the intelligence agencies that Russia meddled in the US elections and continues to do so. But those Russian interference deniers tend to also be pandemic deniers, climate changers deniers, people who push fake news like pizzagate.

It's easy to laugh at some of the crazier internet conspiracies about George Soros but there are legitimate questions about whether global NGOs as wealthy and overtly political as the Open Societies Foundation pose a threat to local democracy. The multi-billionaire dollar endowment of the OSF is unprecedented in the history of NGOs.

Even if you happen to agree with Soros and find his agenda to be virtuous, there is obviously no guarantee that this will be true of the next foreign billionaire who decides to invest his fortune into shifting public opinion, lobbying governments, financing media groups, funding ideologically aligned NGOs, bankrolling election campaigns, and donating to politician's personal foundations after they leave office. Technology will soon allow a select few to accumulate unprecedented levels of wealth that will lead to similarly unprecedented levels of influence and control. Either we put some democratic safeguards in place now to curb the influence of the wealthly and their foundations or we will just have to keep hoping that they'll advocate for things we agree with.

As a boy in Nazi occupied Poland Soros ratted out other jews to the Nazis. He said later, “if I hadnt done it somebody else would have.”

Yes, Israel doesnt like him.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Soros always comes up with conspiracy theorists.

These ‘free thinkers’ are so, so predictable.

@Sneezy, if you want to talk about antisemitism let's talk about a conservative Jew that gets slapped around, ridiculed and called every name in the book because he's Jewish and conservative and that's Ben Shapiro. So you're basically saying attacking a liberal Jewish person equals to being anti-Semetic. but if you attack a conservative Jewish person, it's ok, it's just another whacked crackpot conservative.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Ben Shapiro, one of the dumbest people on Earth, doesn't get dunked on because he's Jewish. He gets dunked on because he's a dishonest nerd.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Ben Shapiro, one of the dumbest people on Earth

No, he isn’t. He’s stubborn and easily flustered when confronted by someone smarter ( the BBC interview with Andrew Neill was a car crash ), but he isn’t dumb.

He makes some good points.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

He makes some good points.

He doesn't.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

He makes some good points.

He doesn't.

Do any conservatives make any good points in your view?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

No. To make "good points", you need at least a degree of insight. If you had a degree of insight, you wouldn't be conservative.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

If you had a degree of insight, you wouldn't be conservative.

My conservative friend thinks that piling on debt is a bad idea. Fiscal conservatism was an idea popular among many conservatives until Trump went bananas with the credit card. My friend’s reasoning is that the younger generation will be saddled with this debt.

I think he has a good, insightful point.

Your friend is not just wrong, he is lying to you.

George Soros conspiracy theories surge as protests sweep U.S.

What can you expect from people that think JFK Jr is alive and blogging on the Deep State from a basement in DC. Who think staring at 5G network towers causes COVID. Who think aircraft contrails is the government spreading mind-control chemicals...

These people are flat-out kooks....

3 ( +4 / -1 )

No. To make "good points", you need at least a degree of insight.

Well, liberals are just flat out screwed then

If you had a degree of insight, you wouldn't be conservative.

Conservatives think the same about liberals and liberalism.

Creating a Jewish bogeyman to blame for all the economic problems that you created.

Wonder what period that reminds me of, I'd say 1930s but a lot of the right wingers wouldn't get it.

Successful strategy in a limited way though, all the klansmen stand firmly behind trump!!!

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Benny Shapiro and George Soros aren't even in the same league.

One tries to inform and show the deep flaws and idiocy of failed liberal policies, the other wants to use his vast fortune and undermine the US our history and culture

Tick, tick, tick.....

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Anyone criticizing Jared Kushner, ends up being accused of antisemitism.

Jared, like his father-in-law inherited a lot of money and is squandering most of it away in bad deals.

There must be a reality show for him, 'stupidest apprentice' maybe!

Yeah, the media are trying their best so hard to force feed the nation that

That many liberals....interesting.

You forgot to prefix it with Mainstream, Fox might be closer to a racist fantasy, but they still are media.

That many liberals....interesting.

As I said 'Wonder what period that reminds me of, I'd say 1930s but a lot of the right wingers wouldn't get it.'

It's so easy, ROFL.

You forgot to prefix it with Mainstream, Fox might be closer to a racist fantasy, but they still are media.

And yet, every liberal outfit is overplaying the race card again and again and again....

War is profitable liberals always say and that's true as in race politics, it's a gold nugget for liberals.

As I said 'Wonder what period that reminds me of, I'd say 1930s but a lot of the right wingers wouldn't get it.'

Robert Byrd?

whatever happened to "climate change"?

during the Dem debates, that was the pressing issue of our time.

Trying to keep up with all this. So COVID, law, climate change...all took a break. Now its back to COVID, will climate change come back also, or is that no longer important?

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

all kinds of marches, signs, celebrities, even some kid from Europe as a spokesperson for the cause.

Im getting concerned, its kind of cold outside for June

Whatever happened to the climate change warriors?

It’s a hoax created by the Chinese.

Haven’t you been listening to the experts in the field?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

And yet, every liberal outfit is overplaying the race card again and again and again....

Calm down, you've forgotten how to use quotes. Fox degenerates are losing advertisers because of their racism.

Robert Byrd?

A lack of college education shining right through, ROFL.

What does it say when even Bolton doesn't want to be associated with trump, hilarious fo me but must be depressing to be a trump follower now,

Im getting concerned, its kind of cold outside for June

I am concerned for the mental well being of trump followers!!
