You have got to be kidding me!

Like the Beatles sang "Everybody got something to hide, except for me and my monkey" but seriously, no one knew the laws of bringing any animal into any country.

You just can't make up a headline like that.

Poor monkey

There is no need to take it out on the pet.

Poor monkey

Though they may hate Beiber, there is no need to take it out on his pet.

"Customs officials also confiscated Beiber's lunch money after shoving his head in a toilet. Asked for reasoning, one customs official shrugged and said in a perfect Hans Gruber accent, 'We can. It's not like he's Bruce Willis.'"

Preventing the poor thing being dragged all over the world on the whim of a self-centred teenager isn't 'taking it out' on the animal, it's doing it a favour. It's kinder on animals to leave them at home in familiar surroundings when you travel. If you can't bear to be parted from them - stay home.

Same thing happened with Michael Jackson and his pet chimp "BUBBLES" a few years back somewhere in Europe.

NeoJamal: I bet they're taking far better care of the monkey at customs than Bieber would be -- the kid is a menace, and didn't even have the care to take care of the proper paperwork. But then, Bieber doesn't even know what the word 'German' means, so there's little doubt he bothers to check about laws.

Right. Heard that since his breakup with Gomez, he spanks that monkey every chance he gets.

I can't see dragging your pet monkey on an international flight unless you are moving, but disregarding that, weren't these the same folks who were confiscating violins from performers because they hadn't filled in some form? Or was that a different group of employees?

So if that smart monkey is unable to work, Bieber will have to do the singing and the interviews himself ? Terrible for the fans. The age group of his fans will drop from 13 yr old to 5 yr old.

"German customs officials commented, 'Due to the large amounts of violins we have recently confiscated, we require an animal adept at music to play them. Upon comparison of musical talents between Bieber and the monkey, we chose the monkey.'"

@SuperLib - Yeah, comedy gold. The monkey was last seen buying the German customs officials a round of beers for the favor they did him.

Justin Bieber's monkey was misbehaving. So the customs had to spank it.

To the Belieber who didn't (or didn't want to) get the joke, go to youtube and type in justin bieber german fail. I kid you not!

As long as they don't spank it.....
