It is and it should inspire those that are able to grasp the threat from Russia to approve the missiles.

The anti-war movement in Germany is massive in politics and this will have an effect.

The anti-direct involvement is strong but Germany is still pro-military aid to Ukraine.

It's likely that military support from Germany is going to scrapped as the fallout from this spreads.

Utter nonsense.

But in the purported audio recording, German officers discuss the theoretical possibility of the missiles being used in Ukraine

Foolish is anybody who thinks ALL theoretical possibilities are not being discussed. It doesn’t mean all theoretical possibilities will be used.

Why would this even matter? Everyone knows Russia is in the wrong, and if necessary, there will be another world war against Russia.

It's all Russia's fault. So they can take their recordings and shove it.

A clear case of military officers overstepping their roles and starting to make policy decisions.

Just like what they did during WW-1

Still how that leak can be go outside still not being explained.

The officers were apparently using a simple online meeting application instead of the secure military system.

This would indicate that it was an unofficial conversation looking at various military and political scenarios.

Happens every day.

I think Germany is still in denial about the upcoming world war.

Insanity.

Russia's 'information war' against West

Huh? With all respect, but are they crazy? Who initiated and made that Taurus missile discussion over unsecured phone lines, German army generals or the Russians? So while there surely is a harsh information war from all involved sides, but this specific one which is the topic here, is not from Russians against the West, but by all logic the opposite.

Insanity.

Yes, if insanity was a government, it would be the Kremlin.

Huh? With all respect, but are they crazy? Who initiated and made that Taurus missile discussion over unsecured phone lines, German army generals or the Russians?

Who cares, this one is all Russia's fault. The whole German tape is a nothingburger.

This 38-minute discussion was on the secure German military comms channel. Head of the Luftwaffe, Inspekteur der Luftwaffe Generalleutnant Ingo Gerhartz, is on the call. So is the chief of staff operations Brig. Gen **Frank Graefe, **Kommando Luftwaffe in Berlin.

Obviously other recordings will be revealed in due course. Makes one wonder.

The other two officers in on the call are Fenske and Frostedt, both officers of the German space command, subordinate to the Luftwaffe command.

They plot to attack the Kerch bridge and/or "military warehouses". They mention the involvement of Büchel Air Base and connive a scheme to send "specialists" to Schrobenhausen - obviously referencing MBDA Deutschland GmbH, manufacturer of the Taurus missile in that city - and clearly for future political denial.

Interestingly they note they may damage the bridge, "make holes" with "10 or 20 missiles" but will not destroy it. One compares the bridge to a massive runway. They also chat about the satellite data they would require. They also conclude they need French Dassault Rafale fighters for the job.

There is no "disinformation". This recorded conversation took place on the 19th of February 2024. That is a fact.
