German government position is that Taiwan is a part of China, but if China tries to violently exert its authority over the breakaway island province, Germany will militarily intervene on behalf of the province.
Also German government position is that Crimea is a part of Ukraine, but any military intervention on behalf of the breakaway island province as Ukraine tries to violently exert its authority is a heinous act of war against Ukraine

The only way there will be war with China is if it is demonstrated to not be peace loving.
