This is just another article to stir up the anti-gun debate. No news here.
For the girl, I hope she copes with this for the rest of her life. Hopefully she knows it was not her fault.

The instructor was an idiot for letting this nine year old girl shoot an Uzi. It is a pity he paid for it with his life. Guns are dangerous and an automatic gun like a Uzi is extremely dangerous in hands of an inexperienced person. This was not the girl's fault. I hope this does not ruin her life.

Of coarse an Uzi is too much for a little girl. MarkG: No news here? Someone was senselessly killed by a little with an Uzi. It's my opinion that this IS news worthy. And yes, it was NOT her fault, it was the fault of her parents, the instructor and a system that allows a young children to operate an Uzi.

And it works pretty well, doesn't it. Nothing like the truth about guns to stir up debate about them.
The fact that you would think that shows just how messed up attitudes towards guns are in the US. Anywhere else in the first world, news of a 9-year old shooting someone with an uzi is most definitely news.

The State of Arizona needs to urgently enact a law prohibiting minors under the age of 16 from using full auto weapons.
And what truth is that?

He would be "idiot" in any civilized country. In the USA he is just a typical product of his environment. "Gun culture" and similar rubbish....

Regardless of how stupid the instructor was, what is the reason for letting 9-year old girls shoot Uzis anyway? I don´t get it.
MarkG
@ Stanger....Your right. It was established the instructor lacked good judgement.
If guns could talk. I would like to know how many other people were shot but that Uzi with its thousands of rounds through it. But I do know the answer-zero! It's not the gun, its the user.
This news was covered already. It's up again to stir the pot. Thought I would state that for those who don't get it.

Yay America!!!! Who needs to send their military overseas when a weak-armed 9-year-old girl can take care of them just fine at home. Idiots!

Sam's first instinct is to cover his ass when he should be saying "I am so sorry we got the parents to sign a waiver which would have denied medical coverage to the little girl if she had been injured for life, a fate only avoided by luck". Sam is the definition of a coward. A coward with lots of guns.
SuperLib
Yep. Just a 9-year old girl shooting a man in the face with an Uzi. Not even worth reporting.

Now if I didn't know the story or saw the video, I'd still be at the same conclusion after reading the title of this article ... "wha tha faaa..."
