'Prig' is just a nicer way to say the word 'pr*ck'. Basically, in US colloquial terms it means that somebody is a JERK. There are stronger synonyms for this and you can figure them out.

The beautiful Cyndi Lauper song was used in a TV ad for Kodak film, and it shows the Notre Dame cathedral from the inside and that's beautiful.
