Glue, soup and grit: the new climate activism

Just keep your antics away from priceless art, thank you!

It's not working, and many of the tactics are just alienating the general public.

No famous artwork has been damaged. They glued themselves to the frame. Not a good tactic.

No matter where they glue themselves, what makes you or anyone else want to hop aboard their bandwagon?

Bunch of losers, don't touch the art !!!..

Climate activists say shock tactics are necessary to attract people's attention to the acute problem of climate change, thus resorting to such extreme tactics as vandalizing art works. But it seems to me that they go for wool and come home shorn instead. Why?

Art works such as Van Gogh and Goya's are artifacts in intellectual environment. If you destroy them, your act is no different from destroying natural environment. A mummy hunter becomes a mummy himself, to be sure.

No matter where they glue themselves, what makes you or anyone else want to hop aboard their bandwagon?

I said it was not a good tactic and not one I agree with. So where am I hopping on a bandwagon unless you mean I should not comment?

Also, the glue used by the activists is a byproduct of oil.
