The Congress shall have power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and to promote the general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

VOTE DEMOCRAT

"The president seems to be creating trade (and other) disputes with everyone — allies and adversaries alike -- and it's difficult to discern any coherent strategy,"

Trump's strategy is based on the latest whim he's had in between tweets, rounds of golf and listening to Rupert Murdoch's various puppets.

He's trying to give the economy a short term jolt before November and talk tough for his true believers, who for some reason still believe what he says even after all of his flip-flopping and outright lying.

While Trump's looking short term, and Congress is too, and US corporations, too, China and Russia have long term plans and are implementing them, building up their bases as America declines.

Trump and the GOP: helping pave the way for the era of Chinese and Russian empires.

Well I suppose that’s one silver lining, that the people who put Trump in the White House will feel it more. All part of the sacrifice of making America Great Again.

I feel the same about Obamacare. Once the mandate is removed we will see some hospital closures, mostly starting the rural, heartland areas. So again, at least it’s focused more on the people who elected Trump and less on the coastal areas.

If you are a rich Trump fan, tho, you will be OK. Just not so much for the working class. Kinda like the tax break. Or protecting Chinese jobs.

Blessed are the cheesemakers.

At the end of the day, the trade wars will decimate ordinary working class families, once again.

Simpletons answers to complex problems is what the Trump faithful demand. As we know from the Dubya years, cause and effect and the ridiculous notion of accepting responsibility for your actions and honesty is something to which Independent Republicans are utterly immune to.

History has proven time and time again that protectionism blows up in your face. Let's watch this backfire badly and all the Trump cheerleaders deny any and all responsibility as Trump injects nitrous oxide into the decline of the United States.

On a serious note it's sad to watch. It doesn't have to be this way, vote these maniacs out of power in November.

“Make america great again”

yea, so how is that working out?

Trump said he would be a best friend to the UK

But UK is probably thinking now, "with friends like this......"

The Cheeto’s supporters are lovin’ this! It’s showin’ them dam ferrigners a thing or two and by golly America will come oout on top. The Cheeto-Head said so! Yeah!

Meanwhile the multi-billion dollar corporations like banks etc are reaping the benefits of not having to pay any taxes, thanks to Tiny Hands’ tax breaks for the rich.

When will the Republican base of unemployed realize they’re being shafted? In about seven years, I suspect, after the Orange One’s second term ends and he retires Super Rich.

It’s OK.

DT will create new subsidies and cut more taxes, all paid by more debt that countries won’t be willing to buy. Well, except Japan maybe.

While DT complains the world is abusing the US, it was made by design for the US to be the world’s economic engine.
