So what do our MAGA-faithful have to say about this....

Do you side with McCarthy who is trying to pass Repub-sponsored bills?

Or do you side with the Freedom Caucus who voted with Dems to block these bills?

Who's right?

I would say that this is a circular firing squad by the GQP but it really is more of a circle jerk.

When Matt "Venmo" Gaetz is leading anything other than a "clothing optional" party, You know that it is going to be good for a chuckle.

when the Biden administration is expected to ask Congress to approve supplemental funding for Ukraine to fight the war against Russia

the answer to that is “no”

Lincolnman there is a strain of conservatives who feel the US government is out of control, or at least beyond being dominated by white, cough cough,”christians” and thus lacking their former hegemony it all has to be destroyed. There is no interest in governing within established means and norms. They are abetted by the “accelerationists” like the Boogaloo Boys.

We’ve seen this act in the California Legislature. Budget blackmail by a minority of Republicans back when a 2/3 majority was required to pass a budget followed by weeks long government shutdowns. Repubes trying to leverage the budget to force policy changes opposed by a majority of Californians, compounded by the obviously racist Proposition 187. Now there are no Repubes holding a statewide office and Repubes are less than 1/3 of either house of the State Legislature.

Bass: With all that what we now know from the Twitter files and FBI testimonies, that moaning will continue indefinitely.

I think you meant to paste that somewhere else. Those small news stories weren't about election fraud.

And moan all you want. Doesn't change anything.

Barely a dozen Republicans, mainly members of the House Freedom Caucus, shuttered House business for a second day Thursday in protest of McCarthy’s leadership. Routine votes could not be taken, and a pair of pro-gas stove bills important to GOP activists stalled out.

How MAGA - another huge self-own...

Kevin's "Kook Caucus" throwing a two-year old tantrum and siding with Dems on a pair of ridiculous "free gas stoves" bills...

Once again showing that they stand for nothing except chaos and destruction - and will side with either Repub or Dems to prove it...

Watch out Kevin - the MAGA knives are out and aiming for your back...

ROFL...

Typical obstructionism rife in the GOP these days. If they don't win a vote, they try to block it.

The Dems would do the same, want a list

No they wouldn't.

They hated that Trump lost in 2020 and refuse to acknowledge reality and moan about incessantly about it.

With all that what we now know from the Twitter files and FBI testimonies, that moaning will continue indefinitely.

Except that there was nothing in the Twitter files and FBI testimonies to indicate that anything at all was unfair about the 2020 election.

This is no different. You lost the vote. Your policies aren't popular. Deal with it.

If that were true Nancy would still hold the gavel.

True to some extent. Many voters prefer to vote the opposite party to the president in midterms, which is partially why we are here.

I would note that the GOP have the majority in the house, so if they can't get the result that they want, that's on them.

When Kevin McCarthy was elected it was on the cards if he didn't follow the right-winger Freedom Caucus.

Republicans are like herding cats

At its core, the standoff between the House conservatives and the speaker revolves around the budget levels McCarthy agreed to in the debt-ceiling bill with Biden that the right flank of his conference strenuously opposed. The agreement restricted spending, but not as much as the Freedom Caucus and others demanded. Unable to stop the debt bill's passage last week, the conservatives are now digging in for a longer fight to prevent it from taking hold.

Petulant manbabies. Well nothing was going to happen there anyways for the next two years.

When the pendulum swings the other way we’ll utter the same words.

Weird reaction to a major Republican win.

I'll also note that I bet this won't shut down the committee circus schedules.

I never thought I'd see the day when the Freedom Caucus would team up with Democrats to stop Republican bills, yet here we are.

Strange lot, these Republicans are.
