I predict that in 2024, Trump will be under multiple indictments and too busy trying to stay out of prison to be bothered with a presidential run.

And if he runs, he’ll get slaughtered. The name Trump is radioactive to Gen Z and millennials who are rapidly replacing the Boomers who were his base as the largest voting block and those groups are not sympathetic to his xenophobic fact-free rants

Hitching yourself to Trump in 2021 is about as smart as hitching yourself to Hillary Clinton in 2017. Except she lost by half as many votes.

Ha ha. I'd reflected on this: Trump has left the Republican Party in such a shambles, with most all bridges burned and all possible successors tainted, that rebuilding it will take a generation. You can't go home again.

he’s becoming more popular as a post President.

Trump's current popularity is due to his tireless diplomatic efforts around the globe and his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity.

Romney is probably the best shot the Republicans have.

Not too crazy, not too liberal, just about right (that is if you're a Republican).

7 ( +13 / -6 )

He promised “Unity”. He delivered: stimulus bills approved only by Democrats and paying off political friends; Cancelling the self-sufficient U.S. energy industry to buy more oil from the Middle East; Supreme Court packing so he can rig the system; continuing the tradition of Obama, stoking racial division every chance he gets; forcing females to compete against biological males in sports

Hahahaha, that's hilarious :)

Stop watching newsmax.

trump is just trying to con more rubes by teasing that he will run again. He will not run if he thinks it might be a fair election. He will only run if he believes that he can cheat like last time, and his attempts to cheat were not good enough to overcome his failure as a leader!

The Trump campaign reportedly cheated donors who thought they were making a one-time contribution, collecting recurring donations

https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-campaign-reportedly-duped-supporters-donors-recurring-donations-2021-4

His beautiful loss has not stopped him from trying to steal money from the misinformed to pay off debts for failed businesses and legal troubles.

The trump women have dreams of running for local government, so he might get behind them, but I doubted it because a male chauvinists like him do not think a women can do a "man's job". Eric's wife will not win a race in North Carolina. Ivanka might win a local election in Florida with a lot of cheating and greasing palms. She thinks getting vaccinated on social media will get herself into office. It is Florida so who knows!

Rest In Pieces...the Republican party! Your demise begins at the moment you struck a deal with Donald trump! Like a phantom haunting shall never goes away!

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Mitt for his faults was a genuinely decent man.

And that is exactly why he's now vilified by the GOP and actually like by most democrats.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

So 40% of Americans surveyed believe Biden didnt win fair and square. and 65% of Republicans.

This is sadly partly true and a very good proof of the terrifying power of propaganda on the masses.

Watching the current Repub Party is like watching a train wreck happen in front of your eyes....

Their base is enthralled with a guy that lost the WH, Senate and House for them, whose incompetence led to over 460K needless deaths, whose vanity couldn't accept a loss so he incited an insurrection against our democracy...and whose No.1 goal over the whole four years of his Presidency and even today is to fleece the flock so he can pay off his Russian oligarch loans.

Candidates like Nikki Haley who would have a real chance against Biden can't get any traction since Trump won't stop conning and grifting the Repub base.

In the mean time, they rant against corporate America who gives them millions under Citizens United and quote Dr Seuss....

Vaccine rates are higher than ever, our economy is roaring back, our Allies are helping us pushback Russia and China, we're moving forward rebuilding our infrastructure....

Until they open their eyes and end their pact with the Devil, the Repubs will be condemned to political purgatory...

3 ( +7 / -4 )

But sadly these days decent doesnt count for much. In fact, it seems to be an impediment.

That's certainly the case if you want to be the GOP nominee.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

We love Biden!

3 ( +6 / -3 )

If Joe (or maybe Kamala) continue rebuilding the economy, actually do something about infrastructure, continue to stand up to China and Russia, and most importantly end this cursed pandemic, He or she wins in 24 no matter who the GOP nominee is.

Given Biden's pushback of Russia

What???

Hmmmm....

and China,

He didn’t do anything to China and he won’t.

Trump needs to worry about losing his freedom in 2021,

Trump is not going to prison, not going to happen even if Andrew Weismann wants it, the chances of him seeing a Federal prison is equal to seeing Hillary being charged and hauled off. Makes good screenplay for an overt Stone movie though.

Hmmmmm....

When it comes to 2024, Toxic Don is stale bread and won't win the nomination.

Liberals said the same thing in 2016 and at 79% popularity and rising liberals counting him out is what we want, let the guard down.

Don't think the Rikers Island Warden will let the guards down...

Too much baggage. Could form his own party and still lose like in last year's historical defeat.

Not so sure, especially had he started a 3rd party, but at this point now, the Dems are making one again the same mistakes that cost them the House in 2011 and the Senate in 2014 keep it up.

He can start a third party - and given where he'll be at he can call it the Convict Party...

@Happy Day

Biden has already revealed himself a fraud by campaigning as a moderate and governing as a radical.

He promised “Unity”. He delivered: stimulus bills approved only by Democrats and paying off political friends; Cancelling the self-sufficient U.S. energy industry to buy more oil from the Middle East; Supreme Court packing so he can rig the system; continuing the tradition of Obama, stoking racial division every chance he gets; forcing females to compete against biological males in sports.

Dems have zero chance in 2024 unless they steal the election.

It’s Trump’s nomination if he wants it.

Oh my..................!

Trump calls Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal "wonderful" and "positive"

As for Romney being a frontrunner, IMHO the brutal and unethical treatment that he got when he ran against Obama

The what now?!? Romney torpedoed his own campaign with his "47% of americans are lazy moochers" comment, the media didn't need to do much at all.

Democrats alike tried to make him look like the second coming of Dorian Gray.

You must have not read Dorian Gray.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

he’s becoming more popular as a post President.

And even more, when he's a post human.

Although, one might argue if he ever possessed a shred of humanity.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Mitt for his faults was a genuinely decent man. People all too quickly forget that. The story of his shutting down his entire company to search for the missing daughter of one of his partners is quite moving. But sadly these days decent doesnt count for much. In fact, it seems to be an impediment.

But sadly these days decent doesnt count for much. In fact, it seems to be an impediment.

What? come on, there's plenty of decent Repub people - just look at Matt Gaetz...

Mitt for his faults was a genuinely decent man. People all too quickly forget that.

I guess this guy forgot about it; "Had failed presidential candidate @MittRomney devoted the same energy and anger to defeating a faltering Barack Obama as he sanctimoniously does to me, he could have won the election. And then you had some that used religion as a crutch. They never used it before," Trump said. "But you know, it's a failed presidential candidate, so things can happen when you fail so badly running for president."

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Hmmm, there’s not a single Republican establishment crony that could beat Trump at this point,

That's probably true, and concisely summarizes the Repubs death knell...

even Haley knows she couldn’t beat Trump add to that he’s becoming more popular as a post President.

Given Biden's pushback of Russia and China, its a sure bet Trump's now more popular with the Kremlin and CCP...

But while Trump is planning his possible return to the Presidential campaign trail, the Dems need to worry about 2022 and losing the House.

Trump needs to worry about losing his freedom in 2021, courtesy of the Manhattan District Prosecutor...and given his grifting of his supporters to help with his legal bills, he's really worried. Just look at those "checked" boxes...

As for Romney being a frontrunner, IMHO the brutal and unethical treatment that he got when he ran against Obama is a big part of why Trump was selected

Hmmmm.... Romney goes from a RINO traitor who voted for impeachment to poor, picked-on Repub candidate... That's some flip.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

It is good to see that the GOP has such a deep bench of interesting and qualified candidates. Any of them will look youthful and spry when compared to the current occupant of the White House.

As for Romney being a frontrunner, IMHO the brutal and unethical treatment that he got when he ran against Obama is a big part of why Trump was selected. He was as decent and morally unimpeachable as any man to run for the office, yet the mainstrem media and Democrats alike tried to make him look like the second coming of Dorian Gray. So the GOP figured, "why bother trying to appease them, let's go disruptive".

In just 100 days, Presidential Biden has brought much needed peace and stability to the region. America is saved and the world rejoices!

Trump is toxic and unlikable, even though some of his policies made sense.

That depends some people think he’s likable and some don’t. I actually can understand both sides, but millions do like that fighting combative obnoxious straightforward talk.

Republicans could put almost anyone else up and will likely beat the current pair of incompetents

Sadly, and I’m not sure. Most conservatives are beyond disgusted with the Republican establishment Neocon lobbyist.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Don't think the Rikers Island Warden will let the guards down...

They won’t be salivating for sure, waiting for nothing.

He can start a third party - and given where he'll be

At his mansion in Marilago laughing at the Democrats.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

2012 Romney wasnt so bad. He seemed honestly surprised that Dems/liberals attacked him and mocked him over Russia when he was actually right.

He has spent all his time since then trying to get the love and attention from liberals that he will only get whenever he speaks out against his own party. For some reason he needs that validation from the other side and doesnt mind to sell out his own group time to time in order to get it. Weak. They only love you when you are talking bad about your own people, Mittens. they will never love you for you, cause they hate "you".

Neither side would vote for Romney by now, Repubs dont trust him and liberals laugh at his pandering to them.

Significant majority of Republicans don’t believe Biden’s win was fair

Almost two-thirds of Republicans believe that President Joe Biden did not legitimately win the 2020 election, even as more than six-in-ten Americans overall believe he won fair and square, according to a new Monmouth University poll.

The survey, conducted February 25 – March 1, found that 65 percent of Republicans believe that Biden’s win was solely the result of voter fraud. What’s more, 29 percent of Republicans say they will never accept Biden as president.

So 40% of Americans surveyed believe Biden didnt win fair and square. and 65% of Republicans.

Its not just me. So when/if Dems lose the Senate and the House next year there is more proof of no mandate for this hard left progressive agenda from Biden.

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

Now you see why Dems were so insistent on trying to ram through some "law" that Trump couldnt run again.
