This coalition of the far-left and far-right in Greece ties in with what Ralph Nader has written about in his latest book "Unstoppable: The Emerging Left-Right Alliance to Dismantle the Corporate State." It appears that people are feeling so disempowered by the hold of transnational corporations and the financial industry on the political process in many countries they are now ready to put aside other differences, at least for the moment, and try to reclaim their sovereignty over issues related to daily life, such as jobs, social security, health, food, energy, etc.
