The globe has been seeing this happen for the last couple decades. The gaps among the have and have nots widen each year. The problems are inordinately complex, but one of the first places where problems can be easily observed is in systems of predatory capitalism, be it of the 'free market' variety the 'west' claims to have, or the authoritarian, state-led variety China and Russia have. Predatory capitalism is a cancer rapidly destroying the planet.

very curious statement,
Lazarus Knows
Seems reasonable to me. It's demonstrable. Look at the large numbers of people who, instead of believing doctors and scientists, insist that Covid-19 isn't real, or isn't bad, or that vaccines have microchips in them, or hawk useless cures like hydroxychloroquine or disinfectant injections.

so the liberal elites supposedly know best and should control everything along with their media friends and Hollywood.
thats the message.
Lazarus Knows
It isn't, actually.
Blacklabel
Then who are these people?
Lazarus Knows
Are you saying that liberals are better informed and educated?
Blacklabel
This article is obviously implying such, although they wont come out and say it.
Who do YOU think they are referring to?
Lazarus Knows
Is it? Seems like you're inferring something that isn't there. Hollywood isn't mentioned once, for example.
Scientists, doctors, and other experts in their field.

Recall, however, the far right have vilified scientists, doctors and especially 'experts'. Those are the sorts 'reasonable' people trust. Trump Republicans have long stopped targeting their messages to 'reasonable' people.

".. the coronavirus pandemic has deepened economic inequality, strained government resources and fanned nationalist sentiments" , so says US intelligence.
That is pretty obvious. The statement could apply to many other countries, notably in Europe. Take note..

The Trump supporter sits in his musty apartment, beads of sweat collecting on his furrowed brow. Having tacitly admitted that liberals are better educated and more informed than he is, he finds himself in the unenviable position of having to argue that doctors, scientists, and experts are all wrong. Each one of them, a filthy deep-stater, who try to suppress the truth of Qanon, Trump, and the rest of the real free-thinkers and truth knowers.
But he knows that, if he posts this, he'll be mocked again for his slavish dedication to conspiracy theories. To having so confidently predicted that Trump would win in a landslide, and then that the States would certify him, and then that the Supreme Court would say that the election doesn't count, and then that Trump somehow, someway, had an ace up his sleeve to maintain his grip on the Presidency. He'd be mocked for devoting himself wholeheartedly to these obvious lies as, one by one, his predictions failed to come true.
What to do? What to do?
He draws the curtain back briefly, letting the sun shine in. Outside, he sees people wearing masks, reading newspapers, and taking care of themselves and each other. Don't they know there's no pandemic? That the media is lying to them? That they should be angry that Bill Gates is using the vaccine that he created with Chinese magicians to make everyone trans?
But he sees something else. They look happy.
Quietly, he begins to rise. Brushing the Chip Star crumbs from his shirt, he ventures towards his front door. Puts on his shoes. He's about to turn the door handle when, all of a sudden... the familiar ping of an e-mail.
It's from the Trump Campaign. "We need your help," the subject reads. "Can you give us your money so that Trump can buy another round of Big Macs for himself?"
There was no time to go outside now. He had no time for fresh air, or fresh perspective.
Now was the time to empty his wallet.

That reeks of woke propaganda. Yes, there are serious problems in the world, one of the main ones being this sort of PC ideology even penetrating so-called "intelligence" agencies, which should address real issues instead of parroting neomarxist propaganda.
